Well, I would think that the victim should have the same ability to 'grope' as the attacker. You know, with their foot. Into his crotch. I know a woman who started taking Karate when her kids started. She's well along the belt progression. She showed me a video of a snap kick exercise. Just simple forward kicks, mostly with the lower leg. If not blocked, she could kick a dude in the nuts maybe 15 times in that 10 seconds. With the element of surprise for the 1st one (she doesn't look threatening in any way) and shock and pain after that, I'd bet she'd get a whole bunch in. Not joking in any way, shape or form.

That's insultling to participants in the Special Olympics.

I will point out that none other than Ronald Reagan was fervently pro-gun until the Black Panthers started showing up openly carrying guns during their protests. Then Ronnie couldn't sign gun restrictions into law fast enough. Gun advocates do not like being on the other side of that equation.

Many of these skills could have also been learned in the Boy Scouts stating at the age of 12 years.

To present both sides, there ARE some churches that are not so exclusionary and right-wing. Kudos to them.

The knapsack,, Why didn't he demand one after he received the money.. He was confident in his skills for securing up the money bag.. that tells us something about Cooper. His confidence in securing the money overcame the riskier option of waiting for and receiving a knapsack. He wasn't some average guy, he had some skills. Those rope tying and survival skills are learned in the military.

I think it’s really that an armed society is a scared society. And that’s OK with the armed people, because it’s them that the unarmed are scared of. And from that position, it’s hard to tell the difference between scared and polite, and, well, it doesn’t really matter if you’re armed, does it? Wendy P.

I did 9 or 10 once, with a round, packing for myself, but I was 23 and it was mostly hop n pops (had to have been, because it was winter). I can still do 5, but it generally involves whining. And I would always get a packer when I went to bigway events Wendy P.

That argument can be used against any and all laws. Pretty stupid argument, really.

One thing I’ve come to realize lately is just how different Cooper is once he gets his money. He becomes a different dude almost. A good example is how stupid he is when he doesn’t demand to receive the knapsack. He spends an hour and a half wasting time playing with nylon cords when all he needed to do was say “Hey, get my damn knapsack” and they’d have grabbed it off some kid in the airport and given it to Cooper in five minutes. Cooper kind of becomes a passive actor in many ways once he gets the money.

I'm disappointed that none of the note version say "Nod if you understand."

I read the next sentences and I also think you have a damn sad way of looking at things if second to spending time in prison comes the notion that you have morals. If you wish you'd have said that first, but just aren't able to organize your thoughts such that you can do that, then you have another thing to think about.

Hey Jerry, He doesn't have one. There is no logical, factual response to this being that talks nonsense to him. The troll bot farms also have no response, it is their way or death.

You have made it quite clear that feelings mean all and facts mean nothing. This is why your posts and opinions are mostly regarded as worthless.

Please explain because I cannot see what you see and that's a fact. Not in broad, general terms but specifically what each has individually done that is evil. Just the top 3-5 offenses each if you don't mind.

No. Ten years ago most conservatives, liberals, and moderates supported being able to have rational discussions with people that had disagreements on policies. They could disagree on issues without needing to vilify the individual. There was some common understanding of the importance of facts. Back then I would have considered myself a conservative except for my positions on personal liberties like marriage equality and abortion rights. Lots of my skydiving friends were way more liberal than 10 year younger me. I didn't want to destroy any of them, and I could have polite constructive conversations with them where we actually could debate the reasons behind our positions. Ten years later I absolutely wouldn't consider myself a conservative. Not because my views have changed that drastically, but because the right has sprinted off towards extremism while I remained mostly sane. I don't want to destroy the GOP, I just would like them to return to reality. I would like for there to be a sanity check around personal liberties, I would like a return to some amount of civility, and I would like people to go back to respecting facts and intellectual honesty. There are currently over a million conservatives who actually believe in the validity of QAnon. There are people way too many people that genuinely believe all of Trump's election fraud falsehoods. Lets not forget all of the anti-science and insane quackery during the peak of covid. Horse dewormer anyone? I didn't willfully sign up to have that be a significant part of my nations political environment. I don't want to destroy them, but some mental healthcare would be a compassionate response.

People on here aren’t senior party officials making speeches to kids. Hell, if a Democrat said that at a school event in Florida DeSantis would have a bill banning it ready to go tomorrow.

Because one party still believes in democracy.
