@Flyjack, are you comfortable explaining what you mean about "being asked" not to disclose your research? My first thought was book deal, but then someone else presenting your research publicly at CooperCon would seem to be the ultimate deal-killer. It's hard to get more public than that! Even sharing with select people privately would seem risky in that case. All it takes is one of them to say a single thing in public to mess up the whole deal. What does it mean when you say you are "being asked" not to share?

FlyJack, your claim to having information that is somewhere beyond top secret and cannot be released to mere mortals is nothing but a cop out. EU and others, and that includes me, have posted their work and publicly stood by it for better or worse. Just take EU up on his invitation and prove everyone else wrong. In the meantime, put up or shut up.

The key demand in the tandem supply and demand equation is not the TI, it is the paying customer. There will not be the same number of TIs, there will be a smaller number of more qualified and committed TIs on average. The overall level of professionalism will go up. Tandem factories are not going to disappear because DZs finally required to get AoCs. Tandem factories are among the most profitable of DZs. Many will do just fine thank you. It will just be harder to start a small DZ down the road from a larger one and undercut the market.

A handy gun allows you to cancel that lengthy, tedious process. BOOM! And if you kill a few (or 5) innocent people in the process? Well, rather not be judged by 12 than carried by 6 and all that.

They won't. But how many innocent people have died since the last potentially justifiable civilian shooting, and why is it OK to kill 10 (or whatever) innocents to justify the means to kill 2 miscreants? Wendy P.

We don't "feel" that way; it's guaranteed in writing. And, can we not do the name calling thing. You can make your point without getting inflammatory. I know; I've seen you do it.

And that, is not a "gun problem" that is a "people (mental health) problem."
