Kirschner is now a media personality and he is looking for clicks. With the information currently available, there is no way the DOJ files a motion to remove AC based on her ruling in the civil case. There is simply no precedent AND it would be way too easy to spin it into a purely political move. It will only happen, IMHO, if the 11th has to overrule her a few times in a row AND those rulings are egregious. Only then would DOJ file for a motion to have her removed.

CooperCon this year will be at the Seattle Museum of Flight. Great venue for it.

Donald Trump is on a long, winding road, rather than the express lane but they both lead to the same place.....PRISON. if the express lane lead to his freedom, he would be on it.....and he's not.

One thing people here don't know about me (because, well, no one here actually knows me) is that I'm almost always the first to stand down if things don't feel right. Now, I guess I just have one more thing on my list of "things that need to feel right" before I'm willing to leave the plane.

It would be, Trump would be in pre-trial detention right now if that were the case.

I just figured that if you tell other people to stay in their swim lane, you would also stay in your swim lane. I do realize that expecting some intellectual honesty might be a bit much.

Yep. A lot of black kids were told that circa 1950. A lot of gay people were told that circa 1990. Specifically I think Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Harvey Milk and Ruby Bridges were all told to stay where they belonged. Personally I am glad they did not dodge the drama. I think we are all better off for their efforts to not stay in their lanes.

You mean she should fit your preconception, I imagine. So my friend who was born with both a penis (and balls) and a vagina (along with ovaries and uterus) wouldn’t fit your preconception, either, right? Would you agree more with her parents’ decision (to remove the female bits and raise as a boy because that’s what they wanted — she went on to an Army Special Forces career), or with her own adult-made decision, to live the rest of her life as the woman she always felt like? Yes, surgery and all Not everyone fits into the standard boxes. The problem is that those people still exist, and simply ignoring their reality isn’t much different from ignoring someone simply because they’re darker than you Wendy P

Since I’m not an elite athlete, the argument about who gets to compete against whom is not one I have a dog in. But I can treat everyone with the respect that all humans are due. It builds me up, because my self-respect comes from me as well. Wendy P.
