I watch the hatred in the USA from afar and just shake my head. The attacks against trans people to garner votes is disgusting. And those that shoot Bud Light cans are fuckwits. Dylan is a great kid. Funny, charming and loving. And has 10 million followers on tik tok. Today’s younger generation just laughs at morons like Kid Rock, who they don’t even know who he is. Agree with all of that. This is a tough forum for conservatives and BIGUN pays for posting conservative ideas.. wolfriverjoe though is a liberal(left of center)with pro gun, pro 2nd views. So dissenters can co-exist with little friction. IMO most anti-conservative leanings are due to the sheer mass of conservative scumbags since 2000. I think the last intellectually honest leader was McCain. Thats not to say that Jeff Flake, Liz Cheney, etc. didn't fight hard for integrity among the GOP. But Liz got the boot and a couple dozen other threw up their hands in disgust.

The 'sockpuppet' claim is regarding people who create extra profiles. Either to post their opinion, pretending to be 'other people' in order to make it look more popular and relevant than it is, to post stuff without admitting that's how they really feel or to get around a ban. I think the record for 'number of sockpuppets' is held by John Rich. He got permabanned and came back as about a zillion sockpuppets. They kept getting banned, he kept making more and coming back. I don't think any of the current 'naughty poster' people are true sockpuppets. Trolls, sure. I'd bet a considerable amount that a 'certain poster' is a paid troll, posting propaganda for a hostile government. There have been a few in the past I'd be comfortable making that accusation with.

That's why I don't worry too much. The under-30 crowd will be running things in a decade or so, and they don't have a problem with gay people, or trans people, or science, or EV's, or justice. Sometimes it just takes time for the older generation to stop running things.

What issue? The MARD getting pulled/dislodged from of a packed reserve and not getting noticed because a jumper didn't check their gear? The MARD is VERY secure when packed. If the rig is handled poorly enough that it somehow becomes dislodged on the ground, and the jumper DOESN'T do a COMPLETE gear check afterwards, they shouldn't be participating in the sport, IMO. We made this system pin checkable after seeing how creative riggers got with other MARD systems. This is an opportunity to give the jumper peace of mind, and to keep riggers in check. We can only do so much as manufacturers.

Arizona republicans just voted to expel representative Liz Harris for ethics violation. She sponsored conspiracy theorist Jacqueline Breger to come to the Arizona House and present a slew of election-denial conspiracies during their investigation of the election, including accusations that governor Katie Hobbs and house speaker Ben Toma were being paid by the Sinaloa cartel. Harris supported her in these accusations. Bravo to most of the Arizona republicans in the house for putting integrity and honesty ahead of partisan politics. More of this could help heal the massive divide in this country between right and left.

Please define "loony and extremist left". Please give some parallels to MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Lake and the rest. How many sexual predators have the "left" condoned and excused. Cuomo resigned as governor of NY after credible accusations. Al Franken resigned as Senator from MN after a picture came to light. The false equivalence of 'the Ds do it too' is disgusting. Fun fact: When Paul Pelosi was attacked, the Rs came up with some incredibly stupid and hateful fantasies about what had happened (I won't call them 'theories' because they have no basis in ANY actual facts). When Ted Cruz's daughter attempted suicide because the right won't accept her for who she is, the response from the Ds was... Support. Not hate. Besides, the 'left' in the US wouldn't even be 'moderate' just about anywhere else in the world. The Ds would actually be right of some of the 'conservative' parties.

Gaetz, Boebert, MTG, Trump, Giuliani, Sidney Powell have no parallel among the Dems. Pelosi wasn't in thrall to the most extreme elements of her party when Speaker. No Dems ever rioted over bogus election fraud claims or put up slates of bogus "electors".
