So Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk, well known anti abortion advocate, has suspended the FDA approval of Mifepristone, siding with religion over science. The plaintiffs in the case shopped for a place to file suit knowing that the judge would be their guy. There is something VERY wrong in America right now when a single, admittedly biased, unelected, cherry picked judge can dictate policy to the entire nation.

NPR gets less than 1% of its income from the government. It'd be much more accurate to call Clarence Thomas a donation-supported Supreme Court Justice. Wendy P.

Children killed in/by vehicles. We've been hearing this argument for awhile. Kids and vehicles is thrown out as a debate point and it's always bothered me. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but yesterday I watched a video by a young female active duty Staff Sergeant when she said: "Vehicles are designed and manufactured for travel and pleasure. Weapons are designed and manufactured to kill." If we take that a step further; I think it's safe to say, They both do their job 99% of the time. It goes to intent. Apologies, I went back to find the vid to cite her as a source, but it got lost in the social media noise.

I already tire of Elon's purchase of Twitter. What was purported to be a new platform for all to enjoy "Freedom of Speech" has become an all-about-me platform and "my sense of freedom." His labeling of NPR as state-affiliated media is silly. Should we call Tesla a state-affiliated car company given the federal tax breaks and federal loans received. Would he even have SpaceX if it weren't for federal dollars?

What is necessary is a culture shift where it becomes a commonly held belief by ALL skydivers that flying a WL >1.2 and/or doing high performance landings are akin to pulling <1.5k and BASE jumping. The cognitive bias comes from having BSRs like minimum pull altitudes to keep skydivers safe while also encouraging skydivers to fly a high wing loading and do high performance landings.

A lot of people have what is often called "anger management issues". People, especially those with testosterone, often lose their temper and strike out in anger. If they happen to be exercising their 2nd Amendment rights at the time it can get to be very bad for both parties. Injury or death for one and long prison time for the other.

I think it's also that pistols are too much like other toys that you can pull out of your pants and point, to show what a man you are, while not too clearly considering the potential consequences. Having a pistol on your person, concealed or not, is just plain stupid if you aren't serious law enforcement or some other vetted as legitimate occupation.

The real question is why did China get to the point where it "controls" most of the Lithium mines? Could it be that China had more futuristic thinking then the American companies and government? Could it be that America is filled with people who only look backward and then complain when the future leaves them behind? If you refuse to see where the obvious trends are going and decide to do nothing, you are doomed to eventual failure. As far as I can tell, there is only one American auto company that has any thought to the future. The rest should be reduced to the size of Yugo.

It is also worthwhile to note that until 2020, the #1 killer of kids was car crashes. As of 2021 and 2022, the #1 killer of kids is gunfire.

Another 100 million should be enough of a deterrent to keep China out of Taiwan and Kamala Harris out of the White House, and kids out of grooming school. Like seriously, what is your problem?

Not that I know of.. but it doesn't matter the tie particles don't match the patents. the 1953 patent TiSb alloy doesn't include the 6-8% Ni on the particles...

I'm curious why you would say that. One, there is a crew member saying that indeed it was in there, and as someone who routinely flies in aircraft with open doors or open tailgates, I can say that air from outside does come in. You are correct in that... is precisely the time it would happen. (How long of a time frame was that?)

Turns out the Supreme Court of the United States loves capitalism and is just as much for sale as any other part of the Banana Republic.
