4 pointsThis is just ridiculous. No way should anyone with a shred of intellectual honesty be defending this guy irrespective of what a lawyer might win in court. We do not need to add private factories printing parts for the "personal" conversion of dozens of weapons to automatic fire added to every other gun rights absurdity this country suffers. Your position is just shameful.

4 pointsI get the distinct feeling that many republicans would classify Roy Moore hitting on 14 year olds at a mall "classy" while the military service of Joe Biden's son would be seen as "a publicity stunt" - based purely on their party affiliations.
-
4 pointsAnother one: "conservative". It used to mean someone who wanted to preserve our democracy, but now it means someone who wants to destroy it and install a deranged moron as king.
-
3 pointsThere are many others. Basically all of them. "Woke" has mostly been turned into an insult by the right and enough people use it that way so that the left no longer uses it at all, except to describe the "anti-woke".
-
2 pointsSalute the rank, not the man? In the age of Trumpism, that's mind control bullshit you need to shake.
-
2 pointsI find it very hard to condemn Pelosi for showing disrespect to a traitor.
-
2 pointsClassy, probably not. Ballsy, absolutely. I liked it then and I think it's aged quite nicely.
-
2 pointsWe need more reps and senators who arent “on the team” in both parties. Because they represent a need to compromise and deal Wendy P.
-
2 pointsCut it however you like. Loonies with guns are more dangerous than loonies without guns.

1 pointGhost guns on Trafficked I found this one to be of her most interesting shows. Well done.

1 pointI don't care what his reason was. One cannot make a sear to make weapons automatic WITHOUT A TYPE 07 FFL. Sit back and watch. Agreed, but I do love the logic, and you can apply it so very many places. That drug dealer wasn't making and selling meth to addicts, he was just using his private factory to convert chemicals into cash! Nothing wrong with that. American ingenuity at work. Solomon Pena wasn't hiring hitmen to kill democrats, he was just using his own hard earned money to employ local workers and enrich them and their families! Only a communist would be against capitalism and families.
-
1 pointThe article you posted. THAT YOU POSTED! ". . . 60 printed auto sears, small devices that can convert firearms into fully automatic weapons." I don't care what his reason was. One cannot make a sear to make weapons automatic WITHOUT A TYPE 07 FFL. Sit back and watch. The ATF is gonna crawl up his ass. EDIT: The above posted before reading the rest of the thread. Thanks, Phil

1 point"The son of a former Arkansas lieutenant governor and grandson of a former governor was sentenced Friday in federal court to 52 months in prison on one count of transfer of a machine gun. Louis Henry Rockefeller, 25, son of the late Lt. Gov. Win Paul Rockefeller and grandson of the late Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller, pleaded guilty...In addition to the four years and four months he will spend in prison, Rockefeller was also ordered to serve three years on supervised release and to pay a $100,000 fine.... a number of 3D printed drop-in auto sears and what are known as "Glock switches," which convert AR-style rifles and Glock semi-automatic pistols to fire a full magazine with one trigger pull... Gibbons testified to several sales of machine guns and auto-sears between Rockefeller and undercover officers, as well as a cooperating witness who came to police attention after he was arrested with a converted Glock pistol during a drug interdiction operation. During a recording of one transaction played in court, Rockefeller could be heard telling the confidential informant how to install a drop-in sear into an AR style rifle and offering him a discount if he would bring him more customers." Why? Are you and Brent going into business together? He has a sort of laissez-faire idea of gun laws. BIGUN has proven Brent wrong on many questions of gun laws.

1 pointYou know,....them. The ones who won't just say what they mean. They like to imply things but won't say them out loud because they know they will be called out. Them, otherwise known as cowards.
-
1 pointIMO the world would be a much better place if ALL "guns" vaporized overnight. then it's just hand to hand combat with edged weapons

1 pointDon't forget the idea that "the people" are fighting the elites. The elite political, the elite rich and their politically connected friends are the enemy. Only our "group/tribe" can fight this cabal of elites.

1 pointAgain, just because you want a word to mean something, doesn't mean that it means that thing. Words mean things.

1 pointThis is also hilarious. https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/2/9/2152104/-Rep-Nancy-Mace-R-SC-unmercifully-roasts-her-fellow-Republicans

1 pointPlease define "them". Which 'them' is this particular 'them' that is trying to not be paid attention to? Google? Nope. They want you to keep using their stuff. So they can make money. YouTube? Nope. They just want you to keep watching (anything). So they can make money. Gym Jordan (or any of the other YouTube 'creators)? Nope. He wants you watching his shit. So he can make money. The advertisers (on YouTube, Google, here, everywhere)? Nope. They want you paying attention to their shit. So they can sell you stuff. And make money. This sort of 'them' and the idea that they are nefariously 'pulling the strings' in the background is pretty silly. I'd expect it from a few folks on here (Rhys/100th Monkey is probably the worst at it but there are others). I thought you were smarter than that.

1 pointI'd say it has a wider range of shading of meaning to the left than to the right; kind of like how there are many shades of Christianity as seen by a Christian, but only one or two as seen by (for example) a Muslim (there are also many shades of Islam). So just as Ron doesn't mean the same thing by calling somone a Christian than I might, that difference is likely to escape someone unfamiliar with Christianity other than from the outside. Wendy P.

1 pointNo it isn't. That is just a side effect. The AI is designed to keep you engaged with the platform. Getting you riled up about politics is an affective way to keep you engaged on a platform. It is pure capitalism.
-
1 pointPWTT basically. Single wide. The McCarthy white Jello comment is the interesting one IMO.

1 pointLike Trump, he is appealing to Americans' basest instincts. That's why it's called the "base".

1 pointHere is an in-depth review of Brian Germain's online coaching service for skydivers (both beginners and advanced), which I've been a member of for a year. I'm not getting any commission for this, and no one asked me to write it. The Network is nothing like I thought it would be, and I wish a review like this was available when I first heard of it. I would have joined much earlier! Hopefully this helps others make a more informed decision. Questions, feedback, and grammar police welcome! Happy to add and clarify things. Warning: it's *very* in depth :-). Maybe read the first two sections and then skim all the headings to see what details you're interested in. https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSf8548z4FrC7PJ5dKoXbRpdYz9CwWq8WywXRvBHRT4T2sUN3appsa7FSQJMNSfnXjxqOLZAsOk6kzj/pub
