I wondered that too, the poster has a short post history but it goes back 6 years, one alludes to being in the military, which makes sense, as military planes are the only ones I know that can pressurize and still have doors that can be used to skydive from. Not sure what prompted the question, as you would think ops for military would have standardized a long time ago on procedures, but maybe there are some new ideas for pressurizing on flights that are being debated.

Time for the Germans to stop deploring and start warring. They need to release all restrictions on users of Leopard 2's and the US needs to expedite the shipment of Bradley's, Patriots, and any land based anti-ship missiles we can offer. We also need to max out the numbers of HIMAR's M30A1 Anti-Personnel munitions from ourselves and our stalwart NATO allies. Seriously, it would be nice if all citizens of all NATO countries would accept that expensive military hardware is what saves the world from autocracy not thank you's and empty promises to help with reconstruction.

I asked him to draw a sketch of how he had it attached. He put his leather waist belt through the upper handle of the bag (that the guy is holding) and his belt apparently had two snaps on the buckle, it wasn't stitched, so of course it just snapped off. He says he had an identical belt in the closet at home and when he got home he inspected it and yanked really hard on it and it broke. He said I'm the first person to ask exactly how he secured it to himself.

No. It implied that adding gun laws to existing law would reduce deaths. (And yes, that assumes that they are well written laws, that they address the issue, that they can be enforced etc.) Yes, California has a lot of gun laws - the most in the country.. As a result, their gun death rate is 37% below the national average. New Jersey has the second strongest gun laws, and their gun death rate is 63% below average. Hawaii has the fourth strongest gun laws; their gun death rate is 75% below national average. Let's compare that to states with the most lax gun laws. Arkansas has the most lax laws; their gun death rate is 75% above national average. Wyoming comes in second in lax laws. Their rate is 90% above national average. So there is some evidence that those gun laws can reduce gun deaths. https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/comparing-gun-laws-and-gun-related-deaths-across-america/ I agree. This is difficult since republicans explicitly banned that research. They feared the discovery that gun laws work.

The state should not be in the business of killing people.

It's a barbaric, mistake prone process that serves no real purpose other than to "punish" someone to make the victims relatives and bloodthirsty onlookers feel better. It's more expensive than life in prison I believe, It's irreversible and I suspect the wrong people get caught more often than they should. All civilised societies no longer do this..
