2 pointsThe ability to redistrict like that is just utterly broken. It feels like it should be illegal to do that and totally disenfranchise the people who won’t vote for you. After burning the electoral college down, gerrymandering needs to be the next thing to go.

2 pointsThe problem IS Crypto. Soon, the nearly 1,855 other bitcoin-like currencies out there will begin to tumble. This was a bad investment from the beginning. I looked into it in the beginning, but chose not to pursue it. It was a solution looking for a problem.

1 pointIn case you haven't heard, Mister Douglas landed at the Deland municipal Airport last Sunday at approximately 3:30 pm from Tennessee. She's back.

1 pointSo while the republicans picked up some seats in the house (and now have a majority there) their overall performance was a stunning setback. They were campaigning during a downturn in the economy with an unpopular president of the opposite party, and traditionally that means huge gains - which they did not see. They did not even take the Senate. The question they have to ask themselves now is - what's next? Because the economy will recover (as it always does) and then they will have to do a tapdance to say something like "well Biden caused the downturn but had NOTHING to do with the recovery." They clearly have some problems with voters, and now would be the time to start fixing those problems. There are a few smart ways forward. 1) Start a campaign to aggressively improve the economy. Again the economy will recover anyway, but if they help it along they can (with some justification) claim credit. 2) Jettison Trump, who is now splitting both their party and the conservative vote. 3) Start working with democrats. Either they get some of what they want (and can then take credit for it) or, if not, they can claim "we tried! It was the dems who won't compromise!" Today I saw a tweet that indicated which direction they will go: "Hunter Biden's laptop is REAL."

1 pointYes, the tie was certainly left by Cooper but was he the person wearing it when those particles were deposited? Who knows.. The tie was sold between about spring 64 and spring 65,, it had significant dust in the knot when it was found on the plane suggesting it was stored/sitting for some time.. so, there were years to accumulate particles which may have come from the production/dye/fire retardants, from different environmental exposures, possibly even from the plane or post hijacking..

1 pointKaye did say it, it was months ago and I can't remember the source.. I would have to go search for it.. try searching the other Cooper forum, if it isn't there than it was in an email.. The ratio outlined in the patent is a range, that ratio is not exclusive to the patent. To be clear, a ratio range is outlined in the patent but that does not mean it is exclusive to the patent. I did find another patent that had the same TiSb ratio.. Sprague Electric. Eric claimed he looked for other sources and couldn't find any so it was exclusive to Rem Cru.. This is just not logical. Eric has no basis to claim it was exclusive to Rem Cru but he flips it to make others prove it isn't.. This is what he has done for years, he makes unsubstantiated claims then demands you prove it false, that isn't how it works.. It is very very hard to prove a negative.. There is no evidence those particles were exclusive to Rem Cru.. none.

1 pointLack of peer review or skeptical analysis is one weakness. IMO the sort of stubborn avoidance of control groups for either of the analyses is also untenable. Together they are grounds for disregarding the results until real review and control are incorporated. There's a "me or your lying eyes" approach that has kept me a diatoms-and-particles skeptic until real scientific work is done on both. Would it really have been so hard to dip a piece of paper in the actual water we're talking about and see what the diatom profile was? Instead we dropped money in a fishtank? Not a fan.

1 pointI can't remember, it might have been mentioned on the other Cooper forum or in a personal email.. But, Rem Cru is worth pursuing regardless.. I have pursued many leads that haven't panned out based on speculation.. The issue is Eric making claims of fact that are unproven or false.. he has always done this to manufacture a conclusion. Those particles are not confirmed to be an alloy.. If they are an alloy the ratio is not exclusive to Rem Cru. and, he still has the date for the tie wrong..

1 pointBut his emails!!! Missouri judge rules AG’s office under Josh Hawley ‘knowingly’ violated transparency laws A Missouri judge on Monday ruled staff in the attorney general’s office, while it was being run by now-U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, used private email accounts to “knowingly and purposefully” subvert the state’s open records law.

1 pointOnly now that the circus is no longer in control of the US government. It wasn't so funny then.

1 pointIf they had dreams of being rich, they probably got greedy and never cashed any out during peaks, so are well in the red now. It's a complete casino market, but you can still make money if you're not dumb. I only chucked a grand in, back in 2017. Things took off over the next 6 months, so I took my original money back out and left the rest to ride - turned out I picked almost the top of that cycle. In the years since I've probably taken another 4-5k out, just cashing out a little every time the headlines start getting a little too hysterical about how good things are going. I'll keep doing this until the market finally burns out completely. It doesn't matter to me, I've already won.

1 pointand I just got a response to an FBI FOIA.. It says there is info and it will be released in the Cooper Vault... but, I don't know what that is,, either Gunther or parachute info.. it doesn't say

1 pointUlis wants to be the one to solve the Cooper case, that in itself is not a problem as many of us sleuths want to be the one to solve it.. the problem with Ulis is that he has a track record of elevating conjecture and assumptions to fact then making unsubstantiated conclusions.. Researching Rem Cru is not a problem, making unproven or false claims as fact is. Eric has always done this whether intentional or not. The result is Ulis getting lots of media attention with bogus information and that undermines the credibility of Cooper case overall.. Most people who do not have a higher level knowledge of the case and of Ulis will get sucked into his narratives because he says them with confidence and in the media. His track record is a disaster.

1 pointA friend, fellow skydiver and former member of the 82nd Airborne and I went to the 1983 Nationals in Muskogee (not to compete as skydiving newbies, but to watch). We took our rigs, "just in case" we could jump. A big way formed up and the team captain came and said there were two slots on Mr. Douglas, did we want them. Absofrigginlutelty!! He told us to go to the front of the plane and let them out and wait thirty seconds before going. Then he asked if we had ever jumped that plane and knew how to exit. Nope. "Point your chin at the bottom of the door and dive out." It was one of my more memorable jumps. I got to jump Mr. Douglas. It would be my one and only time, but I still love that I got to be a part of history and am glad that others will soon be able to also. EDIT: Damn, I just realized that was almost 40 years ago. What the hell happened.

1 pointI bet it smells very rich in that cabin. I actually like that. Well, and the fact that you can stand up. That's nice. So far it is airworthy and certified. Before they can take jumpers it needs some additional work. Disappointing but hey, it does have seats, and seatbelts.

1 pointif i ever saw the bridle Under the bottom skin ??? And the Pilot chute UP and Over The leading edge ??? 3 words >> Peel and Pull ;-) No toggles no rears, chop and reserve. This sounds like one of those pictures which students were shown,,, While In a Hanging Harness !!! " Under a Reserve " beats a lot of other scenarios. This jumper handled it well.

1 pointAs far as I'm concerned the only possible thing that just maybe you might have done better would be to cut away a little sooner. Like when the spiral began at 2600 instead for attempting to fix it. But you did good work in any case.
