Yes, they did know the identity and followed up considering the person a suspect checking prints and obtaining photos.. There is no indication who it was or what the FBI concluded.. You can follow it in the pages after FBI part 11 p 308..

I can feel your inner confusions. The evangelical commandments may help: Soon another false idol will be waived of all present, past and future sins. Ron DeSanctimonous will become the chosen one and he has already claimed divine status.

December 2nd will be the 60th anniversary of the first of my 2000+ jumps. Like anyone in this sport I had my share of misadventures and was recently encouraged to chronicle them. I just completed Bad Decisions Make Great Stories and it appeared on Amazon yesterday in paperback. Skydiving is the focus of the book but my misadventures in ski racing, snowboard racing, unicycling, sailing, flying etc are featured as well. The Kindle version is forthcoming. If you got into the sport in the sixties or seventies, you'll be able to relate. Pat Moore D-1814

Just a convenient way to excuse bad behavior.

This was a vide/slide show Andi's eldest son put together for Andi's funeral. I just contacted him to find out. It is in Italian. The song is called "Dune Mosse" by Zucchero, an Italian singer. The second is called "Siamo Soli" by Vasco Rossi. I don't know what Dune Mosse means but Siam Soli means, "we are alone". Both songs are in Italian.

Sure seems like a combination of the Dobbs decision and Trump proved toxic to the GOP.

Hannity puzzled over where the rumors of a Red Wave originated. So WaPo explains it to him. ;-)

Hi there. Bill Booth here. I'm finally getting around to writing an autobiography, and could use some help. If any of my former employees, customers, or friends have any stories or photographs they would like to share from the period 1970 -1985, I would love to hear or see them. This was a very important period in the development of our sport, and I want to get the facts right. Thanks. My email is: bluemtlake@aol.com

My advice: move to where there is a lot of fresh water - maybe stay where you're at ? Avoid earthquake, volcano, flood, dust bowl, tornado, and forest fire prone areas. Take care and Thanks for an interesting decade.

Property owners not honoring the lease are motherfuckers.

Motherfuckers are people who use money and lawyers to violate laws and legal documents. This was not a case of new owners operating within the law and their rights. I'm honestly sick and tired of seeing people use money and connections to act as if they are above the law. Things may be different down south, but I still like to think that we are a nation of laws.

Have passenger hold you on the shoulders / rig, and use your hands to hold the passengers legstraps. Exit linked with this 4 point configuration, once stable belly to earth, place passenger on your bum where you want him/her to be, then open arms and fly. This works out of any side-door, tailgate etc. As long as you have these 4 points of contact, like a tandem, you can roll 6 times and still stay tight together and come out flying...

Yes. the canopy collisions occurred due to opposing landing patterns. The information is all in the USPA Incident reports. The jumpers collided at low altitude, in the landing pattern, with conflicting landing patterns, in both cases.

Also consider that we grow a new generation of young skydivers every 2 or 3 years and every new generation needs to hear the same bloody lessons anew. It is also important to include a bit of history or theory to help the lecture sink in. Young jumpers need to hear that they are standing on the bloody shoulders of older skydivers who learned bloody lessons the hard way. The old military, authoritarian approach no longer works with younger skydivers as they need to be motivated and they expect to have some of the "whys" explained.

Hi Peter, Back in the 70's, RWS could not keep up with the production demands. So, they entered into an agreement with Guardian Parachute ( subsidiary of FXC Corp ) to build rigs for them. Three employees of Guardian stayed late at nite & built bogus rigs; these rigs were never entered into the production documents. They then sold the rigs out of their cars at various dz's in SoCal. When Guardian found out, all three were fired immediately. This was told to me back in 1978 by Chuck Embury, one of the three. Jerry Baumchen
