And here's you doing it for free, like a chump.

Heck, I wish all the right wingers would leave too! Less traffic, lower housing prices, lower prices in general, less violence, less election fraud and fewer people screaming at me that I am a sinner and going to hell.

Great, what do you think this means? That fracking has no problems or long term issues associated with it? Did you know that the fact people undergo chemotherapy treatment for cancer doesn't mean the chemicals used are very good for you?

Dude, I'm sure your children are beautiful. But did you get their blood tested for purity of DNA? You never know.......

Fun to see people still trying to throw facts around after all these years, as if *this* will be the time he comes around and starts listening. Brent doesn't care. This is about cheering for his team, the score and stats mean nothing whatsoever to him. He just wants your attention, because it doesn't look like there's much else going on for him.

Dealer replacements will be. However, the EV market will soon take the same path that the hybrid market took, and outside companies wil offer rebuilds for far less money. The big problem now is that there is such a demand for batteries that the demand alone is driving up the price - whether the battery is new or used. And car manufactuers have a strong incentive to keep the price on their cars low, but much less to ensure replacement batteries are cheap.

Trump’s Save America PAC Reportedly Under Investigation In January 6 Probe Well damn! How else do they expect an unemployed grifter to make a living?

My Tesla battery has a 10 year 120k mile warranty, so I don't think I have to concern myself with replacement, but I have given the problem some thought in case I do keep it for a while. I think battery replacement will continue to be very expensive for a long time, and hopefully bundling an extended warranty into an Auto policy will be a common thing, as insurance is the best way to handle costly and rare events like battery failure.

Perhaps she will get Mexico to pay for it, just like Trump did.

They're just jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire, seems to me. Bear in mind you aren't alone in the world, although imagining you in a basement running strings from misunderstood graphs to unread articles all pinned to a wall is my current mental picture, so there are likely many, may others who would believe there ain't no use in tryin'.

My fellow retired firefighters are all melting down over the new EV fire trucks. I can imagine how the old timers felt when gasoline powered rigs replaced horse drawn steam pumpers. Its going to be exciting to see the progress of technology in the next few years for all sorts of vehicles, including aircraft.

The explanation of that price is here. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/08/30/fact-check-dealer-gave-30-000-estimate-replace-volt-battery-electric-car-hybrid/7935230001/ Basically that battery is a hard to source obsolete part. Most EV batteries are far cheaper. The whole thing is a just an FB/social media slam.

Jump 50 something was loaned a Sabre 170 to taste downsizing. First jump, just above pattern height, I decided to try some “reverse turns”. Got a bit too deep on the toggle on the 3rd turn, and it just snapped 360 degrees into a line twist. The feeling of being spun up under 1,000’ isn’t something I care to experience ever again. Several thousand jumps later, I was filming tandems. On opening and doing my housekeeping after my 6th jump of the day, I felt a little tingle, like my routine and practically subconscious chest-strap unbuckling procedure had felt different this time somehow. on review of hand cam footage, my chest strap was misrouted. Through the buckle and folded excess stowed in a rubber band. Don’t do either of those.

Does the fact that I followed you in on that load qualify as stupid ? :-)

I hope that remains the stupidest thing… jumping impaired a couple of times in the 1970’s or 80’s probably counts for me. Wendy P.
