3 pointsSomething like that but it ain't much or many. I agree with you on secondary school, absolutely, but I am convinced that junior college designed to be accessible to adults with needs is the single most valuable investment we can make.

3 pointsThrough my impeccable sources I was able to get my hands on the redacted affidavit that is slated for release tomorrow:

2 pointsStroke of genius to wait until the (R)s started whining to expose the hypocrisy.

2 pointsFirst, IMHO, more money should be spent (and spent better) on secondary education. Regarding the debt reduction -- I listened to a podcast this morning that covered some other details not found in MSM reporting (from any side). For the full podcast, check out Opening Arguments #625. What I found interesting is 1) the cost of college tuition has tripled in the past 40 years, and 2) the reason for that increase is mostly the fault of legislators who wanted to cut budgets. How? because state schools used to benefit from about $100 mil annually. Eventually, someone had the bright idea to stop paying FOR things at the schools, and give the money as discretionary spending to the states, to decide on their own how to apply the funds to state schools. Further along, since it was just a bunch of money being allocated to states, it was cut in half, then nearly eradicated over the course of several years as part of budget cuts. (that is a super simplified synopsis of course)

2 pointsA.. Thats why business tax breaks, subsidies for their self invested industries receive priority. Over public policy, education and long term social development policies. No conflict of interest here. 1. Good question they receive generous salaries and pension benefits. 2. Like old cows. They know every trough in the pasture. So see A above.

1 pointAnd, in 16 day's it will be Voyager 1's 45th Birthday. What amazing examples of human capacities they are and what amazing science and knowledge they have provided. Just imagine what we might know now if instead of spending trillions to send people into space we would have sent a few probes like those each succeeding year but with the latest technological advances and abilities. We already might know if Europa or Enceladus harbor life, how cool would that be?

1 pointThere have been 'more than a few' questions from people looking to buy a used container, asking 'will it fit me?' Or 'How can I tell if this will fit me or not?' The more or less standard answer is 'go to the manufacturer's website, find the harness measuring instructions, have your measurements taken, get the serial number of the prospective rig and send both to the manufacturer. They can tell you.' I recently found out that Velocity offers a lookup on their website. I have no clue how long this has been available. Put the serial number of the rig in the box and it gives you the order form (minus any personal info). It lets you see the measurements the harness was made to, what options it was ordered with, and colors. I think it's a pretty cool thing and thought I'd throw it out here. https://www.velocityrigs.com/support/?fbclid=IwAR2QlHkmQnNoRB61pFTqbqAg-iUF6CSWRmuSds1NZP2ML4iORjK0rn-aV5g Note: I tried to copy the page with my rig on it, but it won't work. If anyone is interested in seeing how it works, or what my rig looks like, enter '8507' for the serial number and let it know you're not a robot.

1 point305 was not on autopilot, the plane was flying super dirty,, it would not be appropriate. Ratazcak changed the flap settings and when Cooper was having problems with the stairs right before jumping he adjusted the level and speed... that confirms he was manually flying the plane as he stated. Further, Ratazcak felt Cooper on the stairs.. The statements in the FBI files by an agent about it being on auto pilot were very early Dec 2/71. Yes, it matters because some are trying to claim Ratazcak did not feel Cooper on the stairs because it was on autopilot.. and therefore Cooper jumped further South. He did feel Cooper, he was flying it manually and Cooper did not jump further South.

1 pointBiden's approval rating is jumping up hard and fast according to a Gallup poll. "At 44%, Biden’s approval rating is now higher than the approval ratings of Donald Trump (41%), Barack Obama (43%), Bill Clinton (39%), Jimmy Carter (43%), and Ronald Reagan (41%) at this point in their presidencies." The 44% does not include the debt forgiveness decision. The hoped for blue wave may not be just a pipe dream, after all.
-
1 pointIf the only benefit of the student debt forgiveness, given it's likely overturning by our partisan supreme court, is the opportunity to trumpet the hypocrisy from now until the mid-terms it will be worth the price. Now we need to show some cojones and quit with the nicey nice. We need to change the marketing rule of 7 to 77 to meet the reception capacities of the target market. Time to get after it.

1 pointUnless you have evidence of something new and based on facts, I am not interested in your alternate reality,, sorry can't speak for others of course..

1 pointNo it wasn't a straight answer. Asked what value you would place on XX you offer that the value is for lawmakers to figure out. Well, lawmakers didn't make the statement, you did, hence my inquiry into what you thought. So, you'll just need to forgive me if I take your entire list of items as too vague to qualify as anything other than a pretense.

1 pointIf Trump's tax returns are in line with what's been reported, it's a problem. If the documents stored at Mar a Lago are in line with what's been reported, it's a problem. If the Trump organization's business practices as described by the former CFO are in line with what's been reported, it's a problem. If Trump's personal affairs as described by his previous personal "fixer" and lawyer are in line with what's been reported, it's a problem. If Trump's treatment of women are as self described in the Access Hollywood video, it's a problem. If Trump's attempts to "find" votes in Georgia and elsewhere are as testified under oath, it's a problem. Trump's well documented tens of thousands of lies are a problem. But none of the above seem to bother you as much as what might be on this laptop. In fact none of the above seem to bother you at all.

1 pointI have the WinX and really like it. Demoed the Pilot 7 and thought it was good but the WinX did the same thing just smoother with it. The P7 has a sorta hard transition during the opening sequence compared to the WinX. Also had a Pilot 9 cell for a long time that I loved but obviously being a 9 cell it’s more aggressive if you spin it up and it starts diving. My Spectre I thought was great but the snivel is a bit longer than I think you want in a WS canopy. Never jumped the Epicene/Omicron/Horizon.

1 pointEvery time I see a chart like this I wonder about a couple of things: 1. The chart shows total migrant arrivals, which lumps together legal and "illegal" arrivals. As far as the Trump administration and its supporters are concerned there is no real distinction, they seem to hate everybody who wants to come to this country (with the possible exception of white Europeans especially from Norway). However it is perfectly legal to present yourself at a border crossing and ask for asylum. Your petition will be adjudicated and a decision made, but no laws have been broken just by asking for asylum. 2. The Biden administration (really, Biden personally) is being blamed for people trying to come to the US. What power does any administration have to force people to stay home and not try to come here? Does the US have police powers in Guatemala (as an example)? Do we run the military in Mexico? How, exactly, is Biden supposed to intercept people and turn them back before they reach US soil? Would it not be more effective to figure out why so many people are fleeing their homes to come to a distant country? Few people leave home on a whim, just for a change of scenery. The journey is incredibly dangerous, and they are not at all assured of success. They are fleeing out-of-control gang violence, largely fueled by American demand for narcotics. They are fleeing corrupt and violent military regimes, many with a history of being supported by the US. They are fleeing starvation brought on by natural disasters, such as a series of hurricanes that struck Central America and destroyed their food production several years in a row. If you and your family were facing starvation and being constantly threatened and robbed by gangs, and your own government and police were powerless to help, who would not try to run to safety? But, when Biden (or Obama before that) proposes to spend money to try to help deal with those problems so people will be able to stay home, all we hear from politicians catering to the Trump base is "America First" and complaining about spending money on other countries. When I hear the rhetoric from many conservatives I have to believe that they would force people back into a burning building rather that allow them to break curfew. I'm reminded of the M.S. St. Louis, a ship carrying 900 Jewish passengers trying to flee from Nazi Germany in 1939. The ship was refused permission to dock, first in Cuba, then in the US, and finally in Canada before being forced to return to Germany, where over 1/3 of the passengers ultimately died in concentration camps. Disclosure: I am an immigrant to the US. I came here legally. The process took a long time, it was not particularly pleasant (the "system" assumes you are a terrorist or a criminal it seems), and it was very expensive. I was able to do that because I came from a non-shithole country (Canada), I am educated (PhD), and it probably did not hurt that I am white and I speak English.
