I don't like Hillary very much either, but comparing her to The Donald is like comparing someone who stole a Snickers bar to the mastermind of a heist of the bullion depository at Fort Knox. There's no suggestion that Hillary withheld anything from the National Archives, nor that she secreted away defense secrets. She hasn't stolen from a charity, run a fraudulent unversity, nor does she claim to now more about everything than anyone else in the world. Viewed objectively, there's simply no comparison.

It is a contest to be the most outrageous asshole. Inspired by the greatest asshole in the nation.

Good point dear Jakee, I doubt if life changed much for the average Russian peasant whether they were ruled by: the Tzar or Lenin or Stalin or Yeltsin or Mr. Poutine.

They've spent a lot of money already on engine overhauls and the runway so even if they plan to sell it I don't see why they wouldn't send a couple loads up first. I got a chance to take a wingsuit out of it when it was flying before-you have to try it! You really do fly up until you're looking down at the plane-amazing!

Any attempt to rationalize behavior like this assumes there is some sort of logical reason at play, the sort of thinking that rational people apply when they are weighing potential risks and benefits. With Trump, this is a futile exercise. He has never acknowledged that any law constrains him, or applies to him in any way. Considering his malignant narcissism, perhaps it just makes him feel as if he is still President to have this material in his possession. Perhaps he is just pissed off at being told he isn't allowed to have it. He is a child, an obnoxious spoiled brat who never grew up because he inherited enough wealth to escape any consequence of his pathological behavior. What I find to be even more mysterious than his malignant behavior, is that so many people still support and even worship him. Years from now psychology professors will make a career out of studying the contagious insanity that has gripped so much of the US, assuming of course the insanity hasn't sucked the whole world into Orwell's 1984.

For me - absolutely. For you - depends on what you want out of it. I am convinced that in this sport there are many ways to make more money per hour. A part-time rigger can be the worst paid person on the DZ (per hour invested). But the knowledge and hands-on experience are worth the investment to me... I know more about my rig (and others) than I would have just being a jumper. I know how it was inspected, assembled, packed. Though not part of my original plan (to pack only my own reserves), I did end up packing hundreds of mostly pilot rigs, learned to repair, and was a speaker/presenter at multiple PIA symposiums. If you are not doing it full time, it will take more effort on your part to stay up with changes, even with regard to your own gear. JW

I would be all in favour of mandatory biometric locks on all firearms. The amount of identities that could enable the firearm should be restricted to 2 people max. Sure there will be some instances where they won't work in time, nothing is 100% perfect. But overall it will reduce gun violence.

Little Johnny's neighbor had a baby, unfortunately the baby was born without ears. When mother and the new baby came home from the hospital Johnny's family was invited over to see the baby. Before they left their house little Johnny's dad had a talk with him and explained that the baby had no ears. His dad also told him that if you so much as mention anything about that the baby's missing ears or even said the word ears, that he would get the spanking of his life when he got back home. Little Johnny told his dad he understood completely. When Johnny looked in the crib he said what a beautiful baby. The mother said why thank you little Johnny. Johnny said what beautiful little feet and beautiful little hands he has. He has such a cute little nose and really beautiful eyes, can he see alright? Yes his mother replied, we are so thankful the doctor said he will have 20/20 vision. Little Johnny said that's great...because if he needs glasses he's going to be screwed. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
