And once they do that under oath, then I will give that some weight.

A strong education system benefits society as a whole.

Arizona Education Associations's Mission: Keeping the Promise of Quality Public Education I just don't see it being explained away by teacher shortages. More likely is a paycheck shortage. But going even further, what the holy hell are people doing still moving to Arizona? It's the 3rd fastest growing state and except for water from the Colorado (nearly gone) everyone there would be screwed. Mind bogglingly, with over 300 for realsy sunny days a year their power comes from coal, gas and nuclear. Crazy.

That is why I think DeSantis is even more dangerous than Trump. He is just as vile, but not as goat-fuck stupid as Trump.

Hi Joe, Not a bad deal for any guy/gal who signs up for a part-time welding class at the local community college. Is immediate tenure next? When you dumb down a society, everyone suffers. Jerry Baumchen PS) The cause is retirees do not want to pay into any educational system; they don't need it.

Absolutely. The problem for taxpayers is that it disproportionally benefits the young, and too often, people of color.

They're so heat stroke confused and undereducated they voted for both Biden and Sinema. Great place to live if you don't mind being baffled, desiccated and racing into the mall before your shoe soles melt.

No kidding. I was in Phoenix recently, and commented on the lack of solar panels. Electricity is cheap because of hydro. It’s not raining today, so why fix the roof isn’t a great long-term approach Wendy P.

How the guy who worked directly for Donald Trump was able to get his job at the SS back is astounding to me.

Sorry for the late reply. You should have been sent one when you got an initial judge's rating. If you already have a judge's rating but never received a log book, contact the USPA Competition Committee (competition[at]uspa.org). They should be able to get you sorted out.

Florida is proposing something similar, but worse: veterans would be eligible to be hired as teachers, regardless of whether they have any university-level education. Currently, B.S./B.A. holders can be employed as teachers without a teaching certificate, but they must test and earn all applicable certificates within two years to keep the position. While I would hope the veteran proposal would require the same, I don't know whether it does.

Not Nancy, but just about as shady as Thomas’s partner Wendy P.

24 countries have reduced CO2 emissions between 1970 and 2018. You just provided a perfect example above. Progressives will reduce emissions because it's the right thing to do, and will work together to bring down global CO2 emissions. Even if it means they don’t get all the pizza they want right then and there. And even if every other country doesn’t join them right away. Conservatives say "not enough other people are doing it, so why the hell should I care? I'll just get all the pizza oil I want and burn it because it helps me in the short term! Let someone else suffer.” It doesn’t help to make your point when you contradict it one sentence above. Uh - I hate to ask this - but you realize that we're not actually talking about pizza here, right?

Any opinion on Trumps efforts to grift money off the back of the death of his ex wife and mother of 3 of his kids? Lower than a snakes scrotum...

The Jedi mind trick the greatest grifter in history has pulled off is astounding. I watch people defending his actions and just shake my head. He violated his oath of office by not protecting the Constitution from domestic enemies. The only way his flying monkeys even knew Pence would do a ceremonial procedure on January 6th was because of Trump. He is not a Republican or Democrat. He is just Trump. He only cares about Trump. I can only imagine if Obama had done this with Antifa and BLM protestors, the GOP would have already had a huge senate hearing and he would be in jail. And the Democrats would agree. Fake electors. A riot. Witness intimidation. White supremacy militias. A president that did nothing while people were trying to kill the VP and others in the Capitol. Blue lives matter unless the red hats are doing the beatings. In what world would anyone accept Trump as a serious candidate again? It’s mind boggling. Land of the free…

Yes, it lies with the child and their parents. However, a two day old baby isn't going to add much to the discussion, so the parents will have to decide on their own. When the child is eight, then they are going to be able to add a lot more to the discussion - and should be PART OF (not the final word) the decision. (BTW I originally misread your reply, sorry.)

The implication that there is a flood of kids regretting their transition and detransitioning is a right-wing myth. Recent studies (Gender Identity 5 Years After Social Transition | Pediatrics | American Academy of Pediatrics (aap.org)) show that the rate of youths who socially transition at a young age who then transition back are extremely low, in the vicinity of 2%, and that the vast majority of those who do so are doing it due to family pressure, not regret. For comparison, the average regret rate on all regular surgical procedures comes in at around 7%. Kids who identify as trans early on, almost universally continue that position. Using emotionally charged (and blatantly inaccurate) language like "vivisection" as opposition to this is a tell that you aren't looking for a scientific basis for your views, and likely consider that trans people are just doing these things for funsies. You're wrong.

It may be; it may not be. That decision ultimately lies with the child and their parents.

Again, where does this come from? How are they the safest? What is the judging metric for determining the safest? I am pretty sure most people who says Cypress is the safest say that solely because that's what they heard other people say, so 'it must be true.' I feel like arguing about what brand of AAD is best is equivalent to arguing about what brand of automotive seat belt is the best. They all do the same thing so you mind as well get whatever is cheapest.

CYPRES units do not have a reputation in the industry for doing what you say. You are mistaken. I would suggest you not post things like this if you are not sure. You may give other people the wrong idea. There are three main AAD manufacturers today. All three make a very good product that people can depend on to perform as advertised.
