Airlines do have a responsibility to ensure that the people on their planes are who they say they are, for a number of reasons. But Ryanair are an absolute shit show of an organisation from top to bottom and it kinda figures that someone in their management has taken it upon themselves to institute this bizarre ‘test’.

As you have mentioned previously, we have 100 years of "cheap" fossil fuels in the ground and AGW is an anti-food, anti-salubrious, anti-poor person farce. Let's give you all of that and promise to quit pointing out that you don't have a job. So, then what? It's 2122 and we are out of oil and shit out of luck. Is your plan to find another 100 years of salubrium?

If it's the right season, would the ice be frozen? That would make a much nicer landing area.

Hi 2005, I would suggest that you then do something about it. Last month, here in Oregon, we held our primary elections. I donated the most money I have ever donated to any candidate, to a woman running for the D nomination in a Congressional district that I do not live in. In Nov, because I do not live in her district, I cannot vote for her; as I also could not do this recent May. Later this summer, I intend to make donations to three US House candidates, all here in Oregon, all female, all D's, from districts that I do not live in. And, I cannot vote for any of the three. I like to think it is putting my money where my mouth is. Jerry Baumchen

Under the proposed new immigration legislation, anyone who arrives in the UK that the government doesn't like, is likely to find themselves with a one way ticket to Rwanda.

Not sure whether to call it a joke or not but everything about that article smells like bullshit to me.

If you use any product that used energy from coal in anyway, so are you.

Moreover, I stand by my point that believing you need to buy one or two AR-15's and a crate of ammo, and a dozen high capacity mags and walk out the door with your new arsenal, should be seen, as a default condition, as evidence of mental instability. If you can prove otherwise then come back in two weeks after your successful psychological exam and pick up your guns. Why? Well, because just like your pit bull that never bit anyone before some things simply can not be trusted based on biased assertion.
