He's boiling the Russian frog, I think. Little by little we're crossing the line. So far, so good.

Resurrection A large group of Russian soldiers in the border area in 2022 are moving down a road when they hear a voice call from behind a small hill: "One Ukrainian soldier is better than ten Russian". The Russian commander quickly orders 10 of his best men over the hill where Upon a gun-battle breaks out and continues for a few minutes, then silence. The voice once again calls out: "One Ukraine is better than one hundred Russians." Furious, the Russian commander sends his next best 100 troops over the hill and instantly a huge gun fight commences. After 10 minutes of battle, again Silence. The calm Ukrainian voice calls out again: "One Ukraine is better than one thousand Russians: The enraged Russian commander musters 1000 fighters and sends them to the other side of the hill. Rifle fire, machine guns, grenades, rockets and cannon fire ring out as a terrible battle is fought... Then silence. Eventually one badly wounded Russian fighter crawls back over the hill and with his dying words tells his commander, "Don't send any more men...it's a trap. There's two of them."

Actually it wasn't ACA. It was what I learned here and the opinions of others.

Then it's time for Europe to quit fracking around and get after it. Before the Ukraine invasion it was easy to look, hopefully, towards a different sort of transition from fossil fuels. No more. Russia can not be trusted. Period. The Saudis can not be trusted. Period. The Indians can not be trusted. Period. And closer to home, it is galling that suddenly Sweden and Finland want to fast track NATO admission. We will not meet any CO2 targets. So be it. We need to face reality and understand that we need to deal with that later. Now we all need to find a way to cease being beholding to our enemies.

Right, so ACA has convinced you to support socialised single payer healthcare. Again, that's a pretty major achievement. Without ACA you would not have taken that step - ACA is a stepping stone to real universal healthcare in the USA. I'm not sure why you refuse to recognise that when you are living proof that it's working.

?? They are. Europe installed 17.4GW of wind in 2021 and 26 gigawatts of solar in 2021. That's the equivalent of 15 large natural gas power plants. In one year.

Don't forget insurance companies. They'll all be radically reduced with universal health care. Wendy P.
