I had my booster shot today. I was waiting for the jab and the guy says all done. I did not even feel anything. I barely felt the first and second shots. My arm wasn't sore from them but I could feel it if I pressed on the injection site.

Yep, too bad there wasn't a live stream. I would think that would be easy enough to do.

I agree and I really hope at least some of the panels were recorded, especially Kaye's. I know his presentation from 2019 made it onto Youtube and it's absolutely excellent. https://youtu.be/WYl9NG6Tv8k Actually it looks like we got lucky :) I assume the title implies there is more to come!

When 100% of the population is vaccinated, 100% of the COVID infections will be amongst vaccinated people. That is a very clear indication that the vaccine is useless and we are much better off with vitamin C and Ivermectin.

A pre-acid mesh era parachute probably deserves a display in a museum more than an AIR before potential use.

It also was not just the mesh as Rob mentioned. I had a Pioneer with two panels on one gore next to one larger piece of mesh. So two pieces of white fabric next to one piece of mesh. Had seen identical conditions since sewn together. One panel full strength, one completely degraded. The two panels might have come from different lots, batches, rolls etc. but had been sewn next to each other. We gave Invista, maker of nylon filament, samples of bad fabric. IF they discovered the issue they never told the industry. I did several high tech spectroscopic analysis on the bad versus good nylon. I couldn't identify the difference. To the OP, I pack a lot of old stuff but I would not pack an old Securty LoPo in a pilot rig.

I would posit it doesn't matter. I prefer my gear to have one less failure scenario to one more. I'm really not interested in the pissing contest between jump shack and riggers. There shouldn't be one in the first place, and its existence is already telling.
