I've taken the suggestion of others. The noise to signal ratio has dropped significantly.

No he isn’t. He’s bringing up the point, but I too don’t see a high horse. There are points between complete agreement/capitulation and being the antichrist. Wendy P.

My sister lives in Florida and likes to point out that the number of people dead from covid in her state far exceeds the number of votes DeSantis won by in the last gubernatorial election.

Given that such a huge % of guns used in crimes are obtained illegally, I suggest at least attempting to close down the pipeline by (a) undoing the legislation that hobbles the BATFE from following the trail, (b) very long sentences for the straw purchasers and illegal dealers, (c) all transactions must be recorded, (d) if an illegal gun is used in a crime, all the illegal dealers along the trail are automatically charged as accessories.

A recent Monmouth University poll found that “among those who admit they will not get the vaccine if they can avoid it, 70 percent either identify with or lean toward the Republican Party while just 6 percent align with the Democrats.” All last year Trump delayed, dithered and denied the seriousness of the virus. Meanwhile even now DeSantis and Abbott continue to double down on their anti-mandate agenda. There are people dead today — a lot of them — who should still be alive and who would be if people in the heights of government and the heights of the conservative media had not fed them lies about the virus.

I'm opposed to the death penalty. We'll have to disagree on mandatory sentencing. And, maybe I haven't clarified for those found guilty of violent crimes (Guns, knives, etc. where the intent was to maim, rape, kill, etc.) There are some seriously evil people in the world. They cannot be rehabilitated. Good. Thank you for the compliment. I was making those points.

Can you not just picture him scouring the usual sites for blurbs he can post here and rubbing his hands in glee as the reactions come pouring in? Seriously, it's getting a little hard not to pity him.

Yeah. Trump knew he lost. He knew the election was legit. He tried to do everything he could to steal it anyway. Of course, the idiots will still believe it was 'stolen' from him. 'Cuz they believe him. And they're idiots.

The operative word being, "simple." You tend to post headlines, snippets, talking head points, etc. You've yet to do ANY in-depth research and in many cases, you don't even read the sources you cite. You come across as a very young man not willing to reach their potential and then argue that nobody understands when in-fact; you're well-educated and can be articulate. You served your country, but you don't serve yourself with additional learning or knowledge. It's OK to have a position, but once you've been shown that position is inaccurate. many times, given the sources to understand why that position is inaccurate and still beat the same drum - well, it gets frustrating. RE: the posted article. I don't think that anyone is going to refute that we still have a dependence on fossil-fuel. For now. We need to reduce and move toward removing coal as a way. Coal releases a number of airborne toxins and pollutants. It includes almost every toxin that kills, The health impact on humans and animals include asthma, brain damage, heart problems, cancer, neurological disorders, and premature death. At this point, every country should be moving towards alternative energies. It's a path.

Don't worry, nobody who is familiar with your posting history expected you to respond in any meaningful way.
