Its called natural selection. Natures way of weeding out the terminally stupid. The GOP should become extinct in the next year or so.

100% support for this, just actively add a layer of focus towards how your specific situation might affect your jumps (for yourself and others involved). Take it easy, take the time needed to adjust, hope for the best but plan for the worst. P. S. I'm often teased for sounding pessimistic, but it's a sport which can easily kill you and it's most often poor planning and "it will probably be okay" attitude that does most of the work (not saying that's you, just overcommunicating).

Carhart work pants. I know TIs that use them almost all the time. They slide in on their butts. The pants hold up well.

I see that the subtlety, grace and deepness of thought with which you approach the topic of COVID-19 apply to other topics as well...good to know.

I haven't been jumping much lately, I have total over 80 jumps. But my shoulder is doing really good after surgery and I would totally recommend it / do it again if needed. I did good research and put a lot of work into that project, including picking the hospital, picking the doctor, picking the rehab center and doing the rehab itself. It can also help to exercise before the surgery to achieve better results.
