A few years ago there was a fair bit of buzz in the Turbine Aircraft DZO world about the pilot shortage. I pointed out, as gently as I could, that there was no pilot shortage; there was a paycheck shortage. Some folks couldn't get their heads wrapped around the idea that the person with a 5 or 6 figure education who was responsible for a million dollar aircraft and 16 lives 25 times a day might just need as decent a pay check as their top TM. Now that the vaccine is readily available to any who want it I'm in agreement that the unemployment subsidy needs to come to an end. But so should paying people 7 bucks an hour.

I disagree with just about all of Rep. Cheney's policy positions, but to punish her for not promoting a huge lie is about as low as you can go.

Maybe if the previous administration took the word of the intelligence community about the threat of Russian cyber attacks seriously, this could have been prevented. Instead they decided to cozy up to Russia and deny that they were a threat. The previous cyber attack against Solarwinds was downplayed and denied by the administration even after it was proven that the Russians were behind it.

All information about the failure of building a Skydiving Museum is out there. Albert Berchtold is one of the nine who voted no to the ripoff. There are members of the BOD who were there in February 2002 when the Museum Trustees assured the BOD that USPA would not have to put in any money and said again --- "it would not be a USPA Museum".

I was Piglet II jumper, too, and I never ever heard of even a bit of hesitiaton. Crack your back, and your ankles, too, but no mals. I did break my r. calcaneus on my reserve jump with a piglet, but that was a bad confluence of 12mph winds, apartment complex, parking lot, playground, and power lines.
