Hopefully this will be something both parties can get behind. A bill in the House of Representatives will block deportation of US military veterans until their cases are reviewed. https://republicamericas.com/politics/were-willing-to-put-their-lives-on-the-line-house-bill-blocks-deportation-of-military-veterans/

Up until they go through the process to become an American Citizen. Incorrect. Every veteran I know will say, "They fought for this country - immediate path to citizenship." IMO: Issue the citizenship card with the DD-214.

And that's why we moved to a town; we're a quarter mile from town, and yes, I walk or bicycle everywhere. Whenever my car dies (it's used to go back and forth to other states, and haul stuff), I'll probably replace it with an occasional rental, rather than remaining a 2-car family. Wendy P.

Hi Sky, Re: Using people for the military, breaking them and then deporting them cause they are broken comes across as very American. We are not all like that. And, it does seem as though the Biden Admin is not either. Jerry Baumchen

Forty years ago, Relative Workshop introduced their Vector 1 harness-container. It was one of the first containers with a single ripcord pin and set the standard for all later containers. Along the way, Vector was up-dated with a stronger pilot-chute spring (Vector 2), electronic automatic activation devices (Cypres 1991), hip rings (mid 1990s), a new closing sequence (Vector 3 mid-1990s) and "Skyhook" main assisted reserve deployment (circa 2000).

Hi Rob, And, anyone who says that there is a limit as to what one can do via a Minor Change does not know what they are talking about. Jerry Baumchen PS) Wonderhog, TSO'd in 1974, & still going strong.

Yes. Unfortunately our dear Lisa "moooo" H. passed back in Feb 2020. She was fighting some health issues and sadly lost the fight. We miss her so much. Elsinore has been my home DZ since 2004. I was fortunate to be able to go on one of her tandems with here, and enjoy her company at many boogies. We are waiting for the present health/pandemic situation to get under control in order to go through the process of saying good bye to our dear friend, due to it happening right at the onset of covid-19. I am not on FB but have close contact with some one who is close to Lisa's next of kin and have been getting info from her. She is on FB and will most likely post info. there. BSBD
