So the issue I have with this response is that it seems like you're saying the Q(uackery) was like your version of professional wrestling; it was entertaining, so who cares if it's all fakery? But you're failing to acknowledge and come to terms with it being actually fake. I don't know a single person who thinks that WWE is real - they're content to say "Ok, well, it might be staged but hey those guys do get real banged up in the process." But they don't live their lives, alienate their communities, shoot up pizza parlors, or storm the Capitol based on the fantasies that entertain them. You completely lost me (and I'm pretty sure the entire room) when you tried to link this to how you got a bunch of free jumps. There's no connection there, but maybe that's just a side-effect of your credulity in making nonsense connections, similar to the Q crap. As for your last line, you should know what a "deepity" is in your line of work. It's basically baffling with bullshit, in case this is a new term for you. Life is dynamic. "Expand and elevate your consciousness" is a catchy buzzword way of saying you think you've got some secret the rest of us don't have, but you're going to be super duper vague to the point where you're saying nothing at all. And whether things happen for you or to you is a simple mindset change in positive thinking. No mystery to it, Ron. You might have those "double diamond" wings, but your philosophy is "bar napkin" at best.

That is a fun fact. As Science Officer on the Starship Speakers Corner to what would you attribute such a beneficial change? More Tesla's? Increased numbers of Cetaceans slapping their tails? Bummed out Parisians staying home and sulking? Inquiring minds, you know.

So now you're a sociologist, too? Has your fascination as a quantum theorist caused you to wonder why the truth always seems to happen somewhere else whenever you're there?

Bullshit. Your fascination is with the shiny validation of your world view and feeling like you can help shape a world. Wendy P.

Ron, there was no Republican cave on the election. Trump lost big and not a scintilla of evidence to the contrary has yet been presented. In court case after court case Republican judges tossed out Trumps unsupported cases, the majority of which did not claim fraud. You were not robbed. You lost. Show the evidence or accept defeat.

The big problem with that is what they feel is marginalizing them. Too many of them feel marginalized by BLM supporters and immigrants who are "not the best Mexico has to offer". And dirty Sharia law believers. So much of their angst has been built on hatred. Feeling "marginalized" is no excuse. Following Trump and his band of racists is something that the majority choose not do do. Including many people who have every reason to feel marginalized. Those people have chosen their path based on their prejudices. No one in America is so marginalized that their only option is Trump. America is a rich nation and even it's white trash have full bellies and roofs over their heads.

I don't think hard openings are going to effect the pacemaker. However, most pacemakers are fitted close to your left shoulder. And the wires from the pacemaker to the heart, are inside blodvessels. When you raise your left arm over your head, you are straining the wire, and can potentially dislodge the wire. If dislodged, you might become bradycardic again, or even worse, get som kind of dangerous arytmia. Raising your left arm to some degree over your head could be ok,,, but you should never hang from your arms, especially your left(if pacemaker fitted on left side). Please consult your cardiolog, regarding such maneuvers. Yours sincerly, Bent Jøran Olsen Skydiver and ICU nurse.

I bought a motorcycle before I took up skydiving. By the time I started jumping I already knew her attitude, because she said as much when I bought the Harley: “Neither you nor your brother are stupid people. Staying inside trying to be ‘safe’ all the time isn’t living. I trust you both to be smart about anything you take up.” she came out to the DZ when she was in town for visits. She knows I love it, but has no interest in doing it herself. But she does enjoy sitting in the shade and watching jumpers come in! My father and his wife, OTOH, think I’m insane.

Pacemakers are more common than most people think and having bradycardia and getting a pacemaker installed is better than most forms of heart disease. Most people learn they have heart disease when they have a heart attack, but by then the damage is long done. In general, having a pacemaker shouldent affect your daily life much if at all. There are not really that many activities that I can think of that are unsafe with a pacemaker. I dont know why you couldent skydive or even BASE jump with one. The only concern I could think of would be the possible effect of a hard opening on the device.

I would agree with this if the Pilot actually knew he would be braking the law by allowing someone to jump a base rig from his Balloon. It does not appear that this was the case. It appears that The jumpers was confronted about doing something illegal and putting the pilot in danger of getting in trouble. From what was posted, The jumper didnt seem to care, So gary had someone else (with a little more authority) explain it to him. Hey if the Pilot knows it is against the law and still agrees to it.. More power to him. But someone trying to slip one past the pilot to get thier jollies is just not cool if thier action could get that pilot in trouble.

I am looking for some information on Bill, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me out a little. I would love to see a collection of his stories, how he came about, his first jump, and how he designed systems and such things. I would think that he has a great wealth of information and stories to share, has he put this into book or text form? I would like to know a little more about the guy with the beard I see all the tandem passengers watching before the jump! and by the way, google didnt reall help out! http://www.bighand.no/pages/BillBooth.html --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
