The Post says: Give it up, Mr. President — for your sake and the nation’s. Was the story quoted in SC before. Its author one of Murdoch's "journalist" stooges. Went on several major network shows. He stated the same think you have done in SC. He went on to say that if the media and people would just stop talking about trump he would fade away on his own. trump is like penicillin proof gonorrhea. Until the hosting body dies he will still be dangerous, be a menace to society. Did communism die with Lenin? Do you think he will stop fundraising? Honestly? Do you think he will stop his agenda and won't take Stephen Miller with him? Honestly? Do you think his ego will suddenly vacate his mind? A scant six weeks ago more Americans voted for him than have ever voted for any president before that. Do you think that ideology will go away? That Biden will end trumpism? Every single political ideal of trumpism is still manifest in those that voted for him. Those followers are still looking for a messenger, for him, or someone like him. So the trump/Miller agenda can live on.

And there has for sure never been a liberal president.

OK cool. Then it's safe to say that there are no liberals here.

Keep in mind also that Trump's behavior, overall, in the last 5 years has taken 'corruption' to heights not seen in over a century. His is the first attempt in our entire history to overturn a valid presidential election. He and his supporters keep claiming 'fraud' and 'irregularities', without a shred of evidence. And the morons believe it. This is a long way from being over. Trump being removed from the White House is a good beginning, but the idiots are going to be a problem for a while.

He’s not trying to lose the Georgia Senate race, because he doesn’t care who wins the Senate race. Republicans are just starting to find out what everyone else already knew - that Trump has absolutely no interest in anything that doesn’t directly benefit him personally, and that includes the future success and power of the GOP if he’s not at the head of it. Pursuing a personal grudge against a couple of individual Rs is important to him, and whether that helps or hinders the party as a whole is not even a consideration.

I'm going to throw out something different to consider. Which dz is most likely to become your home dz, the one you will jump most at? For most jumpers that's the one closest to where you live. Doing your student training at that dz has several advantages. The obvious one is travel time and cost savings. The less obvious is the social side of skydiving. By the time you have an A license, people will know you and it will be a bit easier to find folks to jump with than if you show up as an unknown with a fresh A license. You'll also have a chance to get to know the local riggers before you have to decide who is going to pack your reserve. Regardless, don't forget to bring beer (or an equally yummy non alcoholic equivalent) and hang out getting to know people after your jumps. And have fun!

Trump: "I want to see Biden in prison"! Biden: "Why does Trump think I would visit him in prison"?

The science is actually quite simple. Your governor acting like a typical selfish human is not really relevant to it. The less people have close contact the less the virus can spread. Covering your breathing openings will cause the viral particles to travel less distance. That is the science in a nutshell. The part where officials make decisions about the best way to limit contact is not really science at all. It is people making the best of the situation and employing both common sense and their own biases about what is important. And it is where many of us disagree with each other.

No, his dinner party was goat-fuck stupid and utterly hypocritical. That said, the science (as evidenced by the very large number of practicing doctors and nurses supporting masks) indicates that wearing masks, especially the transmitter, but also the potential recipient of infected particles, reduces infection significantly. You can look at the infection profile of the vast majority of the states, sorted by the strictness of their anti-COVID measures. They correlate well. It's not perfect -- Rhode Island is having a big spike, and they're reasonably strict. But by and large they do. That's what science is. Not a promise of one-to-one perfect anticipation, but evidence showing that following a particular path is more likely to lead to one or another outcome in a limited set of outcomes. Wendy P.
