4 pointsYou lack the ability to think independently and are only able to parrot what your leaders tell you?

2 pointsIsn't that what everyone is saying? Deciding who should be accountable to the law on the basis of how it will be seen politically is banana republic. The American people are served by holding their leaders accountable to the law just like everyone else. They are not served by placing successful politicians in a seperate class of uber-privilege that gives them protection from the consequences of illegal actions.

1 pointI Just went through ground school this past weekend again after almost a decade away from the sport and happened to have someone else going through it at the same time (didn’t know him beforehand). For some reason, this guy didn’t seem to really care about learning anything and just thought that he had to go through the AFF jumps (didn’t know it was pass/fail) and then jump anywhere he wanted. He never really asked any questions except asking me a bunch of stuff during our breaks about when he could do things like wing suit jumps, etc... I could tell he really hadn’t done any research at all before signing up for AFF and throughout the class I could see our instructor getting visibly angry and worried. We made it through the class and got on a load for our first jump and even on the way up, other jumpers had to tell him to stop playing with his harness, he still had issues remembering emergency procedures (throughout the class and on the plane, he practiced by pulling his cutaway and reserve handles at the same time). I was out before him and had a fairly ok jump and when we landed he told me that they made him pull almost immediately because he couldn’t get stable. After his debrief (which I overheard, they recommended 20-30 minutes of tunnel time) he told me that they told him not to come back. That’s not exactly what happened, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I had heard them say that. is that typical of some people starting AFF? It blows my mind that someone would be so carefree when entering a sport like this and makes me a little nervous both for them, and everyone else sharing a load with them.

1 pointThat's forcing the point. No one is suggesting making trumped up charges where no wrong doing exists. But it cannot be either or; there must be limits and the crimes must be real. For example, if it is found out that he treasonously gave Putin classified information during their private tête à tête's would you still think it wrong to charge him? What about provable perjury in a federal investigation? We are in this mess from going high when they go low. This time, for the sake of the Republic, we need to send a loud and clear message that we have an Executive not a King in America and don't think you'll be getting off scott free if you hurt the nation. That and by his own words only Trump would have installed Trump as President for life.

1 pointIt won't be much of an endorsement if it comes from Danbury Minimum Security Federal Prison. That's one reason I would like to see him prosecuted for his crimes.

1 pointThose are actions that should have resulted in his removal from office. Not all of them are crimes. But, as far as 'criminal acts' go: Michael Cohen went to prison. Trump was listed as an 'unindicted co-conspirator.' The payment to the porn star was considered an illegal campaign donation. The payment was embezzled from the Trump Foundation. The payment was disguised as lawyers fees, which were then taken as a deductible expense on the taxes. While the 'campaign donation' is not going to be something super simple to get a conviction on, the other two are pretty much open & shut. Fairly serious felonies. Then there are a variety of tax fraud, real estate fraud and bank fraud charges that the prosecutors in New York (federal, state and municipal) are all gathering a lot of evidence to prosecute. Trump has been fighting it for a long time. Most recently, he lost the court case where he tried to claim that the prosecutors couldn't investigate him (subpoena his tax records among other things) because he was president. His son has been dodging a subpoena for a deposition on one of these cases. All of this has been building for a while. The comparison to Nixon's pardon is not a very good one. Nixon was a slimeball, no doubt about it. But he didn't come anywhere near Trump's criminal behavior. Nixon resigned in disgrace. He knew full well that an impeachment trial in the Senate would have resulted in his expulsion from office. Trump, OTOH, is still trying to convince his moron followers that he should be declared the winner. There's an inscription on the Supreme Court. "Equal Justice Under the Law". Trump should face the same justice anyone else would. Not 'rich man's justice'.

1 pointI just watched two patriots address the nation live from Delaware. They spoke in complete sentences. They spoke English as if it was their native language. They didn't call anyone insulting names. They didn't threaten anyone. They didn't mock anyone. It was amazing!

1 pointYou mean like it should be in any prosecution? Anyway, I really don’t get this idea that Ex presidents should be left alone for the good of the country. Aside from it being an affront to the ideas of responsibility and accountability in government, in this case it ignores who Trump is. He’s being investigated for corrupt, criminal activities he’s been getting away with for his whole life. If he’s let off the hook this time just because he was President then what do you think he’s gonna do then? He’ll be the same guy, running the same business, perpetrating the same crimes. To advocate for letting him do that just because he once won a single election is nuts. Congress can’t indict. It’s an irrelevant comparison.

1 pointThey used to fight nazis. Without waiting for Japan to attack first. Unlike “America firsters”.

1 pointYou must have missed the electric C208 already flying: In the UK and Europe the C208 is one of the most common jump planes around. MagniX are going to market it for cargo ops, which is pretty much the exact configuration for skydiving. The 3 DZs near me operate: C208, C208 (3 aircraft), PAC 750XL.
