Found this really interesting mini project on YT where each canopy line tension is measured during flight while performing different type of maneuvers. Wonder if this has already be done for skydiving canopies by some manufacturers? If not, you think it could be beneficial?

Hi Brent, Trump has 'bought' so many other things in his life*, I doubt that he can buy a Nobel. IMO those folks are a little smarter than Trump will ever be. Jerry Baumchen * Someone to take his SAT's as one example.

Yes, he's so old-fashioned that he still thinks Russia and North Korea can't be trusted.

Looks like nylon and jet fuel get a C rating which is not fantastic for life saving gear at first thought. https://www.coleparmer.com/chemical-resistance However, JP1 is mostly gasoline with 30% kerosene and they give an A rating for nylon and gas as well as an A rating for nylon and kerosene which implies it might be okay. In the world of rock climbing, it's know that gasoline in general is not actually harmful to nylon. Usually things made from oil dont hurt other things made from oil, but there are some exceptions. The main things to look out for are acids and strong caustic agents. There is a way to find out for sure quite easily. Buy a nylon climbing sling, expose it to the chemical in question and then send it back to the manufacturer for destructive testing. They will probably do it for free. Then you can know with firm certainty how much, if any, it degrades nylon and you can do the whole test for like $20.

The whole US healthcare insurance system is so patently ridiculous that the world shakes its head in amazement that the people tolerate it. The only explanation for it is your related tolerance for corporations owning your politicians.

I don’t know why that would tickle us more than anything else posted by Q, since everything posted by Q is simply made up. He could post that all the Joint Chiefs are aliens and it would be no different. But if you believe it... why? If Q is a group of military people who support Trump over the civil service deep state, of Trump is the most pro military president ever, why are the joint chiefs conspiring against him?

Opting for style over substance isn’t supposed to be something you’re proud of.

No reason not to own one, just understand the limitations. They were designed in the 80's and 90's and are not designed to handle high speed deployments or high wingloadings. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
