Westerly, overwhelming people with sheer volume of ignorance is not an effective trolling technique. Where's the subtlety?? To be a good troll, you need to get people to respond, right? In that post, there's just too much for anyone to even know where to start with a response. We all know you can do better than that.

There is an incredible level of vileness in her comment. Poor Westerly, she must have been passed around and then dumped by the tandem staff at her home DZ. Then at all the other legit DZs she tried to peddle herself at as well!

If they were wearing Swiss Guard Pantaloons, I Dream of Jeanie Sequin Vests, and Fez Hats as long as they were all lined up in military order and slinging AR-15's in "military ready" carry position then they would still be totally glomming on to America's current Sparta like idolization of the military. It's all completely moronic and as a society we do not need it or glean any benefit from the practice. Some posters here need to get out of America for some serious travel and experience again what America used to be like: no jerks with open carry Glocks on their hips and no sense of foreboding when a cop pulls up behind you.

I cannot begin to count how many tandems I’ve “ caught” literally in the thousands. Here’s what works best for me. I gage where the tandem is going to land. Then I place myself slightly downwind of that point. ( you can get really good at this) & look over my right shoulder to see what if any adjustments are needed. I start running forward towards the touch down point before they touch down and Then reach out and snag the toggle As they touch down while remaining in motion . Think baton pass. It’s takes good timing and is teamwork between you and the TM but it works great. If you’re standing there facing the incoming tandem & then have to pivot to pull the toggle, you’re already behind the power curve.

Your pilot chute doesn't look completely collapsed. Not a clue if that has anything to do with your problem though.

Remove the twists from your left steering line. Were you sitting perfectly calm in the harness, with your feet crossed?

I have both a VK and a WW. Because the WW is trimmed steeper harness turns develop more energy and power. Once you establish your turn after the first 90* you just sink in the harness and feel the load on the wing. I have not jumped a Leia or a Petra, but the WW is about as much performance as your going to get without going to a hyper wing like a HK2 or Petra.
