This. We ALL have had that problem. Boys are just better at acting like it didn't hurt ;-)

America, fuck yeah! Jogging while black will get you killed, wearing a KKK mask around town: Oh, don't mind him he is just looking for attention.

There is no microchip. It's malicious trolling by people who want to watch the word burn and laugh at how they've manipulated you into welcoming it.

By the way, these ladies do a great job explaining what I've seen happening too many times. I must admit I didn't always recognise it before I watched their talk.

There isn't an interpretation of Trump's statement that says anything other than "I'm more interested in the numbers and how they reflect, rather than whether we're on the right track as a country in a global pandemic." Wendy P.

Are these the same people that refuse to wear masks because their god will protect them, yet they need AR-15's because he can't?

Always get a kick out of all the Trump supporters who say "sure, what he said sounded stupid, but what he really meant was . . . ."

Hi Flyjack. I appreciate you checking my examples. I was hoping someone would engage my examples this closely. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but in this case, I think we're just talking at cross purposes. My argument is very narrow. I'm saying that the use of the phrase "negotiable American currency," does not imply a non-native, or non-American, speaker. It is not a clumsy, incorrect, or foreign-sounding phrase to a speaker of American English. This is demonstrated in my examples by its appearance in the work of multiple American-born and American-raised writers. It IS a somewhat pedantic, technical phrase, no doubt, and context is always important. My argument was inspired by statements like the following, from the Citizen Sleuths website: "Since no American citizen would use those terms, it suggests that Cooper was not originally from this country." They don't seem to be referring to context at all, because lots of American citizens might use those terms, given the right circumstance. They seem to be saying that no American citizen would say that, period. To the extent that anyone thinks that, I'm disagreeing. If no one thinks that, well then I'm barking up the wrong tree. By the way, I think you cherry-picked my examples a little bit. The "Car Life" example from 1963 doesn't appear to have any international context, and seems to use the fussiness of the phrase for humor. It's entirely possible that IF Cooper said the exact phrase, he was also being humorous, or impatient, or sarcastic. We know that he used the phrase "no funny stuff," which strikes many people as an awkward attempt to sound like an old-fashioned gangster. Maybe he fancied himself a suave, James Bond-like figure, too, and thought that "negotiable American currency" sounded impressive and sophisticated. Who knows? Not me. Finally, I don't understand your thinking on someone, possibly military, with "recent international exposure/influence." Such as person, or almost any person, doesn't normally forget what country they are in. For instance, if an British soldier returning from years in Afghanistan were robbing a bank in London, they would not accidentally ask for a bag filled with "British currency." unless they were making some kind of joke, or were robbing the international currency exchange desk.

I am very very worried for what happens in the fall when the possibility of a serious second wave takes effect.

Another manifestation of the politicization of the DOJ. Burr wasn't the only Senator accused of this. He was the only Senator who was the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee which is about to wrap up their 3 year investigation which affirms that Russia interfered to help Trump get elected.

I have a Specter 135, works fine on openings and landing. Suggest you go big like your planning too.

Had a lower back fusion in 2001 so I need a soft opening canopy. I love my Spectre. Is there a way that you can jump both a Spectre and a Triathlon to compare them? That's the best way to figure out if either of them will work for YOU. Anybody can tell you what they like and why but they aren't you. Don't let anyone tell you that your landing issues are because you are female. That's total bullshit. Your landing issues are because no one has taught you how to time when to flare and how to flare correctly. My best advice regarding improving your landings is to take a canopy control course ASAP.

Ah, Dr. Paul, the guy who knew he was exposed to the virus, got tested, and then WENT TO THE GYM before he got the (positive) test results. Very smart guy, the sort of person you need pontificating on the nation's health.

I agree. But when the screening ship has 100 tubes,25 for land attack missiles and 75 air defense. But when the attacking missiles are supersonic ballistic, surface skimming, jamming, maneuvering, etc. But when there are three incoming for one outgoing. I know what you're saying, I know about sea sparrow, phalanx CIWS, etc. But the cost of cheap missiles, like the Houthis attack on a Saudi frigate, INS Hanit the Israeli corvette struck by a Hezbollah C-802 anti-ship missile, the HMS Coventry and five other British ships sunk by the inferior Argentine AF. Are all testament to the out-sized capabilities of attack V defense. Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics all like to suggest that their systems are the best. That the latest upgrade will defeat the known-unknown. At the arms bazaars featuring the latest greatest with the best retired colonels, admirals, etc. as chief salesmen. All the scenarios are discussed. Including the war games designed around what is known. You know?

Well, I saw a house in my little city earlier this week. Lots and lots of Trump for Pres signs. The one that I found most troubling was the biggest. The 'tagline' under the names was "Make Liberals Cry Again." Apparently this guy (presumably) doesn't care about the country, or proper governance or any of that... Just hurting people he disagrees with. Sad. And way too common.

Most White House officials will be asked to wear masks or face coverings in public spaces on W.H. grounds, a move to prevent the virus from spreading further inside the compound . The request does not apply to offices, however, and President Trump is still unlikely to wear a mask or face covering, aides say. In other words: Trump gets protection from others but will not protect them in return for utterly selfish reasons. No single action better captures Trump’s narcissism.

try to avoid those bills for a few months and see what the creditors say. they aren't in the habit of forgiving loans and keeping the lights on if they don't get money for it. even after social distancing is over, how many tandems will decide it's worth the risk? and how many fun jumpers will avoid jumping for a while after it stops to see how it goes before jumping again? they may have fewer bills, but they also have less opportunity to collect the money. a 182 can get two tandems per load, one if they want outside video, maybe two (our dz takes four passengers, not five like i've heard some take). that being said, you are mostly correct, you just forgot that even though the bills are much less, being shut for a few months hurts pretty bad since there is nothing coming in and the bills are still there.

Odd that he thinks that states cannot impose social distancing rules, but it is okay for states to require certain hallway widths for clinics providing abortions.

Hey Vitek, There is a difference between wind tunnel arches for first time fliers, and for those looking to progress through to AFF. Also bear in mind the level/knowledge of the instructor at the tunnel, some have no skydiving experience, while some will have considerable experience. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that some instructors wont teach wind tunnel students how to do AFF arches and skills that will benefit you in the air (such as repetition/muscle memory of looking at your left wrist where your alti sits etc) unless you say you are doing AFF. I'm not sure which tunnel you go to in the UK, but next time ask them/tell them you are an AFF student. And see if they modify how you are flying. What ever you do, good luck!
