Odd that he thinks that states cannot impose social distancing rules, but it is okay for states to require certain hallway widths for clinics providing abortions.

I had one of these things and would jump it every now and then depending on how brave I felt. Mine had a line on the rear panel that was used as a brake, I never knew if it worked or not. I remember Jerry Swovlen yelling at me "cut away" when I had packed it backwards one time at Perris.

It's actually both. The correct method is to route it through the leg loop and the MLW so it captures both points. But almost no one does that because either most people dont know better or those who do are just lazy. https://uspa.org/Information/News/seatbelt-usage

Uhm, you may want to go back. You asked: why - it isn't mentioned in the thread. I answered that if you did go look it up, you would know it is mentioned in the thread. And if you decide to go through all that effort to purposely not learn something....it would have taken less time to just google the term.....then quite frankly you deserve the tone you get.

Some people criticise precisely because they're rooting for your team to win, but the team is behaving very childishly. If your favoured team throws a tantrum at half time then tries meaningless antics to distract from the real score, and you don't question that, then you're not as centrist as you claim to be.

correct me if i'm wrong (it happens) but aren't you supposed to route the seatbelt through the main lift web of the harness? i've only been to a few dzs, but every plane ride i've been in i was told to route it through the main lift web. doesn't mean they're all right, but they're been consistent.

I still am of the opinion that universal testing is in practice less valuable than people think. A negative test will only tell you that the individual did not have the virus when the sample was taken. If that's what you're depending on, you need a lot of retests to sift out the infected people. Self-tests may eventually help with that, but currently those are a long, long way from being accurate, reliable and anything but a waste of resources and money. But then, I'm from a country where the measures taken by the government generally seem to be observed by the majority of people living in it. Those few that do not observe social distancing have started to receive fines.

The explicit purpose of the "flatten the curve" approach is to prolong the timeline, which by definition reduces total deaths. If you reduce the timeline to any point that the healthcare system becomes overwhelmed, you will have more deaths. So the flawed assumption in this case is yours.

One man let loose with a revolver killed tens of millions of people? Sounds like a good reason to ban handguns.

We have a bucket of shoes that they can dig through to find a pair that fits. That is normally a good sign that my student isn't going to listen well, since they couldn't read the blurb on the website of what to wear. Here is a hint for you, it doesn't list hiking boots as acceptable footwear.

Republicans don't like Canada. No carry laws, only 5 rounds in a mag for a AR-15, etc. Worse, open immigration of brown, black, Asian people and free medical care for all of them. Then the killer ideology that buries Canada, multiculturalism! Glen Beck said it best "It's in your face, and if you don't like it, if you're offended by it, you're a racist," says Glenn Beck, who claims "Canada" is an attempt to "divide people." Is it Canada of which Glen beck is offended? No its the whole concept of multiculturalism.

Give it ten years and republicans fleeing north to escape martial law; that won't even make the news any more.

Joe leased an apartment and went to the lobby to put his name on his mailbox. While there, an attractive young lady came out of the apartment next to the mailboxes wearing a robe. Joe smiled at the young woman and she started a conversation with him. As they talked, her robe slipped open, and it was obvious that she had nothing else on. Poor Joe broke out into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact. After a few minutes, she placed her hand on his arm and said, "Let's go to my apartment, I hear someone coming." He followed her into her apartment, she closed the door and leaned against it, allowing her robe to fall off completely. "Now," she purred at him, "what would you say is my best feature?" Flustered and embarrassed, Joe finally squeaked, "It's got to be your ears!" Astounded and a little hurt she asked, "My ears? Look at these breasts; they are full and 100% natural! I work out every day! My butt is firm and solid! Look at my skin -- no blemishes anywhere! How can you feel the best part of my body is my ears?" Clearing his throat, Joe stammered, "Outside, when you said you heard someone coming...that was me."

"Martial law" would have been ridiculous and unnecessary. No state has had to institute martial law to get people to stay home. You're doing the strawman thing again. What he needed to do (and did not) was: As soon as it was clear that COVID was a potential risk - send teams to China to understand it and start test kit preparation. (That would have gained us six weeks of prep time.) As soon as it appeared in the US in any significant numbers - shut down schools and shopping. (That would have gained us three weeks to slow the spread.) And if he had done all that? A large number of us would already be back at work. We'd look like South Korea in terms of virus response, not Italy.

Are you going on about this again? Like I and several other people told you the last time you made this statement, links are canopy parts and are supplied with the canopy. This is the industry standard for new canopies. When you buy used all bets are off. No one is talking about legalities here, except you.

Instead of hopefully on any future day, how about hopefully someday all of our brothers and sisters will again be able to gather together to do this incredible thing we do? Please, don't force the issue or press your DZO's with dates that create expectations that cannot be assured. We'll still be skydivers when this passes. Stay chill.
