I am not overlooking that at all. But the reality is you are now living your lifestyle funded by the government - and my tax money is supporting those programs to allow you to live your relaxed lifestyle, and to spend your time complaining about the socialism that supports that lifestyle. And you have every right to do that; it's a free country. (You're welcome BTW.) And other people do this, too. Those illegal immigrants who get education? They are getting their income tax and sales tax money back. Those out of work freeloaders? They are getting their unemployment taxes back. Those green energy programs that the GOP hates? They are getting their employment taxes back. Just like you, they are getting back money they paid into the system. So you are in good company.

Shit, I wish I knew the current world record holder of wingsuitting! He is the best one.

There is a distinct centralized effort in these protests. No idea if Russia and China are involved, but as you point out it would be smart of them to do so. We do know that any attempt to look into that will be ridiculed by "patriots".

Being confronted with facts isn't an attack. Facing the consequences of putting fantasy over science isn't an attack.

Sure. If there wouldn't be an attack every time they do - They would probably do that more often.

Quite the irony, then, that you are now living on government entitlements while I am working and creating value. (And paying a ton of taxes) But have no fear; I am willing to work to pay your bills so you can complain about socialism. As long as there are people like me to subsidize your entitlement lifestyle you'll be able to continue complaining about it.

Right, you excuse certain behaviour among members of your peer group and attack it in people you view as 'other'. Quite a neat encapsulation of religion in general.

Just went through all the videos, I’ll still be doing an in person course when I go back this year (I’ve been away for a long time) but I thought it was really good. It’s a nice thing for them to offer.

Back when I worked in a pro shop that sold used gear, I got into the habit of photocopying the data card if the container and reserve were being sold separately, and sending the original with the reserve, and the photocopy with the container, for just this reason.

Sorry to hear this - Flip and I (Flip) were paired up for the 200 way event in 1992. He made it even more fun and I think BJ saved a lot of headaches by having us together so the two Flips were easily found. LOL.

The situation has been resolved, thanks for all the replies! In the end, we ended up shipping it via DHL. Turns out that you are in fact allowed to ship lithium batteries to Germany, especially if they are small and contained within a device such as an aad. Only Post Australia won't do it for whatever reason. But yeah, just don't try taking your rig on a Qatar Airways flight to avoid this situation entirely. I have taken my rig with me on a LATAM Airlines flight without an issue. Are there any airlines you would recomend or advise against when travelling with your rig? Maybe we can create some kind of index to prevent this kind of situation in the future. What do you think? Cheers and blue skies!
