Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear implored residents to avoid gathering this weekend for the Easter holiday, warning that anyone who violates the state's stay-at-home order will be subject to a 14-day mandatory self-quarantine. Beshear said the state will record license plate information of people seen attending mass gatherings and turn that information over to local public health officials. Quarantine notices will then be delivered in person. Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican who is recovering from coronavirus, criticized Beshear's order in a tweet. "Taking license plates at church? Quarantining someone for being Christian on Easter Sunday? Someone needs to take a step back here," Paul tweeted. But Beshear, a Democrat, said "it's not fair" for some people to violate the state's stay-at-home order and risk spreading COVID-19 to others who are following the directive. "This is just an example of personal responsibility," Beshear said. Darwin smiled.

I know of one open-cockpit aerobatic team that was in part sponsored by a PEP manufacturer. They would leave their rigs in the cockpit all day/every day/all show season. As I got the story, the mfg pulled the sponsorship after the rigs proved shot (UV on the harness) within 2 years. They advised the team to at least cover them when not in use (even if they stayed in the cockpit), but no go. Mfg got tired of giving them new rigs every 2 years for such a non-reason, so they quit. I get that part. I even agree with Maher that there are problems in China that need to be addressed. What he doesn't explain is how calling it the Chinese Virus accomplishes that. he creates a strawmen by implying that those who are opposed to calling it the Chinese Virus argue that China carries no blame and then rants from there on. I found a voice recording from the 60's. I am about 90% certain it is Hahneman but still trying to get 100% confirmation. It brings up a point nobody has considered... Did the FBI play voice recordings of any major suspects to the witnesses? There is no indication from the files that they ever considered it. I don't know if witnesses could recognize Cooper's voice now, after almost 50 years.. For example, I can hear a unique speech pattern/cadence/accent for Sheridan Peterson... each suspect would have their own voice characteristics. All we got was low, intelligent and no discernible accent.

I still advocate just enforcing a quarantine perimeter around any large gathering in violation of orders, and containing them in there for a month.

I've said it already, although I'm not sure if it was on here or not: I'm done being nice to stupid people who endanger others. Take down their names, driver's licence numbers and a picture (easiest would be to take a pic while they hold the D/L next to their face). Inform them that if they choose to join the large public gathering in violation of the law that they have then forfeited their right to get hospital care. If they get seriously sick, God can heal them. Or they can die.
