Hi folks, My daughter just sent me this: If Trump was captain on the Titanic: There isn't any iceberg. There was an iceberg but it's in a totally different ocean. The iceberg is in this ocean but it will melt very soon. There is an iceberg but we didn't hit the iceberg. We hit the iceberg , but the damage will be repaired very shortly. The iceberg is a Chinese iceberg. We are taking on water but every passenger who wants a lifeboat can get a lifeboat, and they are beautiful lifeboats. Look, passengers need to ask nicely for the lifeboats if they want them. We don't have any lifeboats, we're not lifeboat distributors. Passengers should have planned for icebergs and brought their own lifeboats. I really don't think we need that many lifeboats. We have lifeboats and they’re supposed to be our lifeboats, not the passengers' lifeboats. The lifeboats were left on shore by the last captain of this ship. Nobody could have foreseen the iceberg. The DB Cooper thread has become a cesspool. One spammer keeps posting porn. That thread has become an embarrassment to skydivers. Posters on there can post other places on the web, they don't need the DZ anymore if it is going to be how it is now. If the spammers can't be controlled, then it should be shut down and archived.

There is certainly value in reporting on it. Just like there is value in reporting about anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, etc. Sometimes we need a reminder that some people are incredibly stupid.

The Cooper thread was allowed back in as an attempt to regain lost usership and generate traffic to the site. Why it got put under Skydiving History & Trivia is beyond me. It is neither. It should have it's own forum to make it easier to ignore.

I read it regularly back when it was actually generating valid info. Then the 'smart people' all gave up. Then it got locked. When it was reopened, I tried reading it again. But it turned into a shouting match between one or two posters, plus one idiot who claimed he knew who it was, kept posting pics of that 'suspect', but no actual evidence that he could possibly be Cooper. He got banned, and kept coming back with sockpuppets, posting pics. They kept getting deleted. I'll guess he's the idiot posting porn. I'd be fine with it getting locked up again. There actually is a lot of valid info in it, but it's at the beginning (or in the original thread) and buried among a ton of garbage.

Any good tailor worth his salt should be able to adjust your suit. Cost would depend on how slight 'slightly' really is, but £350 seems excessive. I've had adjustments made to both jumpsuit and FF pants at a tailor local to me. For example, I was charged £50.00 to adjust the waist on my FF pants which had inexplicably shrunk over one Xmas and New Year. As an aside, Tony Suits used to offer a free adjustment on any new kit they made provided it was returned to them within X weeks of manufacture and return/delivery cost was a/c purchaser.

Are you going on about this again? Like I and several other people told you the last time you made this statement, links are canopy parts and are supplied with the canopy. This is the industry standard for new canopies. When you buy used all bets are off. No one is talking about legalities here, except you.
