i called my senator, shelly capito, and told her that her constituents wanted to hear the evidence and was assured that she wanted to hear the truth, but she voted no for witnesses. i became galvanized at that point, and when i got home, i registered the domain CapitoHasGottaGo.com, hosted a page, and registered a pac so that i can help put her out. i have been in contact with her opponent, richard ojeda, so that i can see if we are on the same page as far as issues. i have listened to his interviews and read his views so a confident that we agree, having both been combat engineers and airborne soldiers, although he was a major and i a staff sergeant. fitting if you ask me. as soon as i get the ban account opened on monday, i will get a paypal button up for tax deductible donations if one were so inclined.

I could only watch half of it. Why the hell are they trying to reason with a lunatic? Just call the cops and have her escorted off the premises.

I'm sure there are still a few of us out there. Skydivers from the 60's and 70's. Team photo - Northern California. I'm the one with the cast. I remember most ot the faces and a few by name, John by the prop, Jackie Johnson (Jerry Johnson's wife) in the middle, Stash second to end in middle row/black hat. What fun we had. I stayed in the sport for about 8 years and loved every minute of it. Just wanted to share.

Al shude be a good choice. I'm sure I'm triggering a few with my spellings. I mite suggest saying my spelling and then your "proper" spelling. See how different they sound. To something that matters. The ISMHOF was started in 1972. Going on 48 yrs and............... Nothing! Unless you count begging for contributions. They're pretty good at that. Convinced BOD members to contribute members money (Bill Ottley specifically opposed that) so they cude then convince others around the world to contribute. The Aussies gave 10K! Damn! Don't know why but, they did. Last yr, the ISMHOF spent approximately 37% of all collected funds on collecting more funds. That equals almost 1000 per day! On what? A LOT of money is going out the door and as far as I've seen, nothing to show for it. I've contacted members of the board and the ISMHOF and made this known. Few were not aware, few were and had no intention of voting against the BOD decision (?) and many never got back with me. ANY member can come here and offer up more info but, so far, nothing. Many say they want the Museum built but, don't care enuff to see why it isn't. Instead, my leaving a few vowels off a few words is enuff to trigger them into orbit. Instead of wasting time and keystrokes on that, why don't you try actually helping and contact your AD and get some answers. Who knows, we might get something done before we're all dead.

have you SEEN how many pacs gave him money and still are? to think that this idiot funded himself is laughable. just like he isn't taking his salary or is donating it. that may be so, but the family is getting so much money from their appointed positions it isn't needed, but i have heard he isn't even doing that(read in an article that i haven't fact checked). hell rudy's son gets bank as a sports advisor for the white house. we can make a difference.

Note that these kind of jumps near terrain are 'a skydive' but when combined with impulsive decisions can quite quickly turn into proximity flights that do demand other gear choice and a more seasoned/trained background for making those (close to terrain) flights. Especially on the Eiger jumps, some people tend to fly towards vs away from the mountain, and end up flying a lot lower than their choice of gear and experience should allow for. Its an incredible visual, but always respect the safety and training standards from skydiving and don't put yourself lower or closer to terrain than you should be...
