Congratulations! If you see a tall girl with a purple and black Freak 3 wingsuit, feel free to say hi and ask questions. I'm usually there most weekends. Line twists are usually bad body position. Pull, go back to the basic position and arch so that you are symmetrical. Once the parachute starts to snivel you can put your hands on the risers to stop any twists that might happen during inflation. Everyone handles stress and adrenaline differently. You have two tandems and one jump in a fairly short time period I am guessing. So, that might have helped with the fear. Instructors also keep you somewhat busy in the plane asking about the ash check, important altitudes, dive flow etc. The talking and rehearsal helps ease the nerves a bit.

They are using that $3B figure which he advertises, and likely bullshit. Deutsche Bank's $700M estimate probably closer to the truth.

There are people that do that for you. They even put it in a book. It's called an almanac.

I guess all those investors buying all that stock don't know as much as you do. In case you didn't know, sometimes a company will not turn a profit because it is spending on building assets and capabilities for the future. Maybe you should learn about basic principles of investing. But yes, of course you are already smarter than both Musk and all the experienced capitalists who are foolishly looking to the future while you steadfastly stick to the past.

Come dude, that was funny, right? Well ya no shit, I'm trying to beat Nigel! Dude, just because I always use the fuck word doesn't mean that I'm always angry.

The obstacle is that the over exaggeration has caused dissent.

I have had both for most of my jumps. I love the mudflap mount (from Bonehead) when under canpoy and for wingsuiting, but I find it hard to read during freefall. Removing it is simple enough, only takes a few seconds.

To be fair though, he was part of a government that’s just presided over 8 years of swingeing public sector cuts and corporate tax breaks in the name of ‘austerity’ - so I’m pretty sure these promises just a cynical vote grab to ensure Brexit gets done, to be abandoned as soon as it becomes clear how much money Brexit is really going to cost.

Nope. That's simply corruption. If a juror in a civil or criminal trial openly admitted that they were coordinating their efforts with either side, the juror would be removed immediately. There is a strong possibility that the trial would be suspended and a mistrial declared. If, during the 'voir dire' process of any trial, a potential juror declared that they knew how they would vote during deliberations, they would be removed. I think it's kind of a shame that the House doesn't impeach McConnell for his misdeeds. THAT would be funny.

I am predicting that the start of a recession will occur prior to Q2 2020.

I thought the inverted yield curve on bonds was a good indicator.

Lows in unemployment are a good indicator of a coming recession.

5.8% vs 3.5%. It might have been good then but it is better now.

I read a tongue-in-cheek proposal for what Bloomberg could do for the country: Offer Trump $10B to resign. - Bloomberg would still have 80% of his current net worth. - Trump would finally have the net worth he claims to have. It's a win-win!
