Can you tell me a bit more about the ritual for swearing allegiance to Satan? I want to make sure I'm doing it right but don't believe that was part of the process of excluding religion from my life. Does it look something like this:

Being born-again is not an indoctrination. It is an experience, one you will never forget or doubt. I was totally alone, in the middle of the night, camped at Mono Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains on 16 Mar 81 when I experienced being born-again.

The man is a living, walking embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

They're quite busy purging voter rolls. I got purged and had to re-register, and I just voted in the 2018 blue wave. They are perfecting minority rule and insulating it for a generation.

I have trouble swearing allegiance to non-existent fairy tale beings. #TheToothFairyThough #MaybeSantaToo

Or, you could reject BOTH Satan AND Jesus because they are both imaginary.

So Aesop's fables would work just as well? Stories and moral lessons have gone together for as long as there has been a campfire to sit around and tell them while keeping the wolves at bay. You just don't need a god to have morals. And the god of The Bible is an altogether immoral creature himself.

So then replying to all three of you I guess I should say that religion CAN be a good foundation of morality and culture. There is nothing you can't accomplish just by raising your children right in a secular world but for many people a church is the center of their family and community. I went to a non-denominational non-theistic church when I was younger (I believe it would now be called a Unitarian Universalist church), I recall more readings from secular authors than I did anything relating to Christianity. There was NEVER prayer in the sense of bowing your head and hoping an invisible magic man was there because there was never any message saying that you were supposed to believe in the magic man, much less pledge your soul at penalty of hellfire.

Just a reminder that we are still very open to making adjustments to the forums to help users in cases where they feel certain functionality is missing or something worked better on the old site. Of course, moving to new technology is always a challenging, you gain a lot but may also lose some aspects that the old software had. We definitely have no regrets moving the system, as the old system was barely breathing with how outdated it was. The developers last update was over a decade ago - the site would have run into the ground. With that said, there are things we'd like to enhance and fix on the site still, of course. But we've typically worked with users to address most of the concerns. I'm going through old threads at the moment and ensuring that nothing was missed, and creating a tracking center where you can see the status of changes and suggest additions to our tracking list. I realize a lot of what we do is happening behind the scenes and not really seen by the users. If you have suggestions or comments about aspects which put you off the new design, I'm always happy to listen and make adjustments where it makes sense to and where possible. Please feel free to add feedback and suggestions here particularly: https://www.dropzone.com/forums/topic/266945-bugs-functionality-tracker/

It's flair. And we all have to have at least seven pieces of flair.
