Trump calls off meeting with Denmark's prime minister because ‘she would have no interest in discussing purchase of Greenland’ I saw this headline this morning and thought it was just some journalist making up a headline to explain why Trump had cancelled his trip to Denmark. But its acctualy from his own twitter feed. Trump has tweeted that “based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s comments, that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland, I will be postponing our meeting scheduled in two weeks for another time”. Just when you think he can you have seen it all he manages to surpass his previous petulant childish behaviour.

The BOD actually owes the membership an explanation. I know there has been buyer’s remorse from some BOD members that voted yes to the donations. This was presented as “If the USPA donates, the other national organizations like CSPA, BPA and others would donate”. As far as I know, this hasn’t happened from the other associations. Our competition teams beg for funding and DZOs across the land are under attack from the NIMBY crowds. Our dues should fund those situations. I have spoken at great length with my friend Jim McCormick about their plans for the museum. It’s currently a very poor business model that will need $400,000 to $500,000 in yearly contributions to stay open. This was a poor use of our dues,IMHO. I am all in on a museum, and HOF, and have donated privately to it. However this isn’t a wise USPA funding situation in my opinion.

Wow. Wow. What kills me is that Evangelicals only care about Israel insofar as it's supposed to be where Armageddon takes place according to their book. The Jews all get sent to hell; they couldn't care less about Jews. In fact, in the denomination I came from, they actively preached a subtle form of disdain for the Jewish people. So every time one of these fuckers starts slinging around the "anti-semitic" accusation, I grind my teeth a little bit. It couldn't be more disingenuous.

Also consider most Jews don't even like Trump's "very fine people!" How . . . disloyal of them.

Partial malfunction: Hold the container flaps together with left hand, pull ripcord with right hand. Throw ripcord away. Peel back flaps. Take canopy and big wad of lines, throw down and in the direction of spin. For a really slow malfunction, might have to shake the reserve a couple time before it's interested in opening. I've done this. Total malfunction: Airborne tuck/fetal position. Pull ripcord. Assist canopy into wind if necessary. I've never done this.

I've had some friends say that I'm acting like I (and people who don't like Trump) want the economy to crash just to prove a point. No, I'm pointing out these signs because I want our leadership to be intellectually honest and take the necessary steps.

13 trustees, A treasurer, A secretary, A Vice-President, A President CEO, A former Honorary Chairman and an Honorary President.19 living and a former President on the board here. The only thing to show for all of this is a pie in the sky rendition of a facility attached to an Ifly that, at this point is not even in the planning process for completion. But, they sure can plan events to raise more funding. Nice to see they're good at something.....

This is just Amazing to me. Of the members that do support this project, what exactly do they support? Giving money to a few individuals that in almost 50 yrs haven't so much as put a plan in place? Do they support a few individuals that operate with continued immunity to any kind of oversight? Blindly giving money to a group that in 50 yrs has done......Nothing. Unless you consider inducting individuals into a non existing museum and continuing to beg for funds a success. At what point is someone (Anyone?) going to start holding some accountability here and actually get this project finished? And finally please explain to me how exposing this as the failure it is at this point, a negative? If you are going to accuse someone as being just a "complainer" then bring some proof that those involved with getting this done are actually doing something.

Just got done touring the North Carolina, it was absolutely amazing. 16 inch gun turrets the size of a house, steam turbines, giant reduction gears, powder and shell magazines, bridge, communications, navigation, mess galley, bakery, post office, apothecary, laboratory, dental office, surgical suite, machine shop, fire direction control center, on and on and on. I left there in awe of 1930/40s technology. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have reached out to 1 board member about this. He said that they dont "Micro manage " the ISMHOF. Apparently asking how the funding given to an organization is being used, is considered micro managing. I guess I missed that part when I got my degree.......

I don't know much about Vortexes but have packed a few. They also have Skyhooks, magnetic riser covers, optional internal riser covers, optional semi stowless main bag, optional freefly pud.... all that stuff you mentioned for UPT rigs. (Yeah it can be hard to keep track of what is available on various rigs, especially if one sees more of one brand than another...) The Micron might indeed be better but just wanted to keep things clear here.

Missing: As a Christian I can not support the incitement of gun violence against anyone. To do so on a billboard against four young women of color, who are also the duly elected representatives of their congressional districts, is especially reprehensible. The God I worship and advocate loves us all equally. He gave us free will so that we might have our own thoughts and ideas and then come to him for salvation. I personally know the gun shop owner who purchased the billboard. This very day I intend to explain to him why such an ad is an offense not only against four innocent young women and the very fabric of our society but is also an offense against the teachings of Jesus Christ.
