So the summer meeting of the BOD has come and gone. Doesn't appear to have any real breaking news. 1 thing that has gotten crickets is the continued funding of the ISMHOF. Not a single BOD member has said a word about that. A yr after committing members funds to an organization that in almost 50 yrs, hasn't so much as got a bldg plan for this together and....... Nothing. Apparently the board doesnt care about how members funds are spent or what they are used for. Does this bother anyone?

Seems like the election of Trump has emboldened a lot of people who used to have to actually consider others because they weren’t the sole arbiters of power and worth, to quit that pussy girlie shit and go back to being “men,” who get to say what they want, when they want, because the US world revolves around them. So they expect people who disagree with them to read or watch (worse, because it’s way more time consuming) what they post, without their having to pay any real attention to what others say, post, or link. Fuck that. Eventually, it’ll end again. Time passes, old people die. Younger people will turn old, and they’ll ossify, but in different ways. If we really wanted to “make America like it was,” voting would be for white landowners, German immigrants (and anyone like the Irish who immigrated after them, and who changed the fabric of America) would be reviled, and indentured servitude would be the norm for orphaned children whose parents couldn’t provide for them. I have reached out to 1 board member about this. He said that they dont "Micro manage " the ISMHOF. Apparently asking how the funding given to an organization is being used, is considered micro managing. I guess I missed that part when I got my degree.......

The next car I get will be all electric. I'm content that we're there, I do the kind of driving that suits it well and the fuel cost can't be beat.

I'm not sure you can stop it on a DZ since the THC vape pens don't look any different than normal vape pens. They also don't smell like a joint does. I think it's like alcohol at the drop zone bar. If you drink you are done for the day and most skydivers will police that if they see you with a beer. THC needs to be the same way. I see them coming out at the end of the day like beers and I don't think that is bad. It just needs to be properly self policed so that people are not smoking and jumping. Same goes for just about any "legal" but gray area substances like pain killers

If you had ever landed running with the wind for the tee you would know why the pea pit was invented.
