I've had enough of you now. And I just remembered I now have the power of ignoring you and not ever seeing you in my feed. Bye.

SkyVan "Dive 'til You're Deaf" event. Sunday, 31 March, weather will be excellent and West Tennessee Skydiving is having a SkyVan "Dive 'til You're Deaf" event. For licensed skydivers, jump the SkyVan all day (yes, all day) from 14,500 for $50! Yes, just $50.00. SkyVan available at 9 AM. Did we mention it is $50 for all the jumps you can make on Sunday? If you make 10 jumps, then that would be $5 per jump (do the math).

You are not now and never will be good enough to not die in this sport. Remember, stepping out of that plane may be the last thing you ever do. Don't take anything up in the plane you aren't willing to lose. That includes you. If you aren't careful and thorough and smart, you can easily die in this sport. If you are careful, thorough and smart, you will get to watch your friends die. Those are all quotes I've either read on here or heard in person. What other sport has an annual fatality report from the national organization?

Not likely you'd ever get out. The airspeed of a commercial jet is so fast you'd never get the door open, not even with multiple people helping. All the doors I've seen open outward and toward the relative wind which makes them virtually impossible to open in flight. You might be able to get one of the emergency doors over the wings open, but the hole would probably be too small to get through with a rig on. Plus if the plane was in a spin, shit would be flying everywhere and you'd be lucky if you could even get the overhead bin open let alone take it out of your luggage, put it on, get to the door, open the door, jump, ect. Then of course there are issues with altitude. If you got out at 20k or below, fine. But if you got out at 36,000', you could pass out quickly without supplemental O2 and your hands would freeze likely rendering complete loss of feeling. You'd have to be selective of the door too. If you chose one of the forward doors, your exit path could put you straight into the wing or one of the engines. Any one of these things would be an issue. All of them combined make it ultra unlikely you'd pull it off. Even skydivers in jump planes sitting right next to a door intended to be easily opened with their rig on have had issues getting out during emergencies.

What you are is a man with a political position that you are trying to advance. Your interest in the mechanics of energy resources is completely secondary to that. You do not start with a curiosity about energy, you start with a pre-determinined belief and then look for ways to prove it.

I get annoyed at people who say that it is more dangerous to drive to the DZ than it is to jump. Just shut up if you need to tell stories like that.

I found the Z1 to be the best fit for my large head, and I used it for about 10 years. Even the largest G3 would not allow for the width across my ears. The audible pocket on mine also got stretched out over time, and I did not like the distortion from the updated visor, which I used for one season. I've never had either visor on the Z1 open during freefall. I sold my old Z1 helmet with both visors and a nice helmet bag, which was in really great condition except for the drawstring cord being broken. There was no interest in the helmet until I eventually lowered the price down to $80. I really like my new Kiss helmet, no visor distortion, easy to use, love that audibles are securely held, not just in a pocket, and camera accessories are available. Only the price is bad.

While I'm not a huge fan I've come to appreciate her passion for her job. We actually need more people like AOC (not necessarily with her views) who aren't afraid to challenge the status quo. Congress has sold us out to the highest bidder. I'm wondering how long it will take them to get to her.

The KISS has actual retention latches that you have to push in to open, so that would be a plus over the rubber locking mechanisms.

Lmao! Im starting my AFF in a little over a week. Went tandem last weekend, and I can embarrassingly admit that I asked this question to my TI. This is just hilarious.

When I'm doing tandems, I'll clean the goggles and them put them over the student's head and around their neck. I've seen the look of pride and satisfaction on their faces as they show their friends "Hey look, I have my own goggles already." Then the other students start searching and find their goggles on the main attachment hook and strain to put them on while the goggles are still hooked to the harness. Ain't hard to just give 'em the goggles right up front, I've found.

Been jumping the same one for12 years. Great helmet, works as advertised, and takes a beating well. Chuck Akers D-10855 Houston, TX
