Your one warning. I would note that the forum now allows you to block posters. If you want someone to "shut the fuck up" the onus is on you to make that happen. If you don't feel like it - your problem.

You're Canadian right? What are the odds of Trump still being POTUS longer than Justin Trudeau staying on as Prime Minister with that scandal of his blowing up? Worry about your shit and we'll worry about ours.

I agree, the quote system isn't working as we'd like. We've reached out to the content management system asking for clarification on whether this is something that can be changed or if it's a core part of the system and if the latter, why they chose this method of doing things. We are going to work at trying to get this resolve and to retain quotes that are nested inside of a post, as we can definitely see why it would be hard to track a conversation where quotes are being omitted.

Fair enough. Surely though at some point a person carrying on a rambling multi post string of one liners in conversation solely with themself is just spamming? Hey Redcoat ... It will be safe at Eloy. Plenty of folks to keep an eye on it there

Hi BV, Why is it that you cannot comprehend that a Republican Congress put that legislation in front of Clinton sign? No President gets to sign any legislation until Congress puts it on his desk. Try studying how these things work, Jerry Baumchen The Crime Control Act of 1994 was written by Joe Biden and passed by a Democrat Congress. The Republicans didn't win the majority until several months after Clinton signed it. Biden recently apologized for it. Maybe he's considering a bid for the presidency.

Well that's the 1st issue - The airworthiness of the rig is certified at that time only. Even if he says 120 days then he is out of date with current regulations for modern sport rigs in the US. With is now 180 days. Well, that's really not my concern about how the DZ records things or their software works. My (as a rigger) responsibility is to pack according to the manufacturer and regulations. Perhaps if a dropzone can't notice the special notation on the card - then they need someone else who can notice it when checking gear. The owner is clearly notified of the date for servicing (in fact I let them know the repack before and let them know that scheduling in the window (+-6months) over the winter months when they are probably not using it). A month or two is probably not going to make a huge difference - considering the +-6month window. However the regulations in the US don't stop me from packing an AAD that will require maintenance or expire within the cycle - but it does (or should) prevent people from jumping such gear. That responsibility falls on the DZ/Owner.

Like I said, the FOUNDING FATHERS saw a potential problem and installed the Electoral College as a check and balance measure. You're a socialist so I'm not surprised you don't agree with them. (shrugs)

He reversed a lot of Obama's bullshit, and now the economy is booming. And you've got Democrats left and right poo-pooing it. They know it too. As for the electoral college, it was meant to prevent small sections of the country from having more power over large sections of the country. The founding fathers knew what they were doing and wanted everyone to have fair and equal representation. Look at the map I posted earlier. Then compare that to what it would look like without the electoral college here... Now tell me, how is it fair for a few populous states to tell the rest of the country what to do? Fuck that.

Many, including myself, have found that an audible is easier to hear with earplugs. The Optima works very well in a KISS. I consider it to be internally mounted, but externally accessible.

I've seen way more outlandish statements and claims from AOC than anything rational. We could start an AOC gaffe thread, and there would be new posts nearly every day, if there were enough Republican supporters on here, but most of them are busy with their lives and can't be bothered to deal with the heavily left leaning group on here. (shrugs) And yes, I am seeing a shift in the Democratic party. The new group is making a lot of noise and challenging the old guard for control. Maybe that is welcome news for some of you. Personally I don't like it. It's going in the wrong direction. But maybe, just maybe, that's good news for the Republicans and Trump. The more left the Democrats go, and rifts develop in the party, the more it helps Trump in 2020. Remember how many counties and states Trump won. The electoral college was established for a reason, and now I'm seeing the Democratic party's efforts to try to change the law to their benefit. Everything I'm hearing on Mueller's Russian Collusion investigation is that there's nothing significant. You've already got Adam Schitt declaring that he's going to investigate the Trumps even further. They're desperate. They know they can't beat Trump on the issues. They're doing everything but throw the kitchen sink at him. And it's gonna backfire on them, bigly.

That sounds like it's getting into fuzzy legal territory, like postdating a check. Doesn't the FAA view packing data cards as legal documents? I get the willies when I even see one signed in ink other than black or blue, lol. I don't like packing rigs when the AAD will be due for service before the repack expires, but I've done it, making a note on the data card saying something like "Cypres requires service before xx/xx/xxxx." Overall, I've found that almost all customers are happy to plan their AAD service at the repack, because they'd rather save the ten or twenty bucks it would cost to remove/reclose, then install/reclose - they just need a little help remembering and planning, and it's easier (less hassle) to comply with service requirements on your regular repack schedule than not.

The Optima II's work flawlessly with the KISS, and I believe that the helmet already comes with an adapter for it. I have a Aon2 Pebbles as well, and it is also plenty loud. I found the lack of buttons to be a bit cumbersome as mentioned, and also disliked the fact that it went off during the climb, but maybe they have updated the firmware from that point. My only gripe about the Optima's is the LCD screen is a little fragile. I had mine for years and years, 10+, and probably about 4 of those years were on my KISS. It finally got hit with a riser on a tandem jump and it broke the LCD screen. That would be one negative with it being externally mounted the way it is on the KISS, but the trade off is the ease of adjustment versus the headache of adjustment on the Pebbles.

If you can do three to-the-floor pushups, you're ahead of me (can't do them to the floor any more). There are plenty of typical nerdy guy types, and skinny is better for being able to fly relative with other people (the long-term goal of most skydiving disciplines). Go for it. Wendy P.

You cannot understand how happy I am that she's been elected! She’s already launching and backing campaigns for 2020 to cannibalize the Democratic Party, unseat current Democratic encumbents, and replace them with more 20-somethings like herself to take the party FARTHER to the extreme socialist left. Confirmed cynical sarcastic bastard since 2003
