26th B.D. & my desktop wallpaper for at least 22yrs

Friday April 23, 1993, I think. I am pretty sure this is the photo from my first static line jump, but it could be from 3 months later just before my initial certification would have expired. The LZ is clearly visible and at the very top right is the runway at California City. The confusion I have as to the date of this photo is due to the Instructor setting the camera down and when the plane banked right, out went the camera. Skydive California City was very apologetic and promised to shoot our next jump for free. A few months or so after my 2nd and 3rd jumps (2 weeks +/- between them) The original camera which had fallen 3000 or so feet to the desert floor was found and the film inside was developed and they sent me a copy of the first jump, which I think is this photo.
