andybr6 0 #1 November 27, 2003 Hey Sorry to trouble you with those newbie how do you do that questions but i was just watching good stuff and i saw the bit where someone was filming from what looked like a camera fixed to the canopy. When he landed he seemed to catch the camera as part of the canopy. I was wondering how that was done? quade 4 #2 November 27, 2003 You should probably write Joe Jennings directly for an full and complete answer, but as a hint, I'm pretty sure it's not packed that way. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
jeremyneas 0 #3 November 27, 2003 If you look at that video closely you'll see that just before he lands the canopy with the camera, theres a CReW dock and thats probably where/when the camera was attached

indyz 1 #5 November 27, 2003 I was flipping through the old Parachutists at the DZ a while back and I found an article from not to long before Good Stuff came out ('98, maybe?) that had a story about how the guy in the video (Jaime Paul?) did it. He kept quiet on the exact details since it's a trade secret, but did say that it was hoisted up into the canopy after deployment and was rigged so that the lines and trigger cable (for when a still camera was used) would appear to be normal suspension lines. andybr6 0 #6 November 27, 2003 Thanks for the info guys. It just looked really good, i guess, as you say indyz, the must have rigged it so it could go up one of the lines to the center of the canopy after deployment. Clever stuff. ------------------------------------------------ "All men can fly, but sadly, only in one direction"
