virgin-burner 1 #1 September 1, 2008 ..once in a while.. seeing how everyobdy's doing! so, how are ye', you gay nylon wearing birds!? so far have kept myself off from it. progressed a lot with my canopy-piloting, did a lot of tracking-dives, docking every time on the rabbit, did a little back-tracking here n'there.. but mostly i worked on my freeflying, my sit's pretty ok now, did a little head-down just the past weekend which went amazingly well. but i was tempted. almost got around to buy a suit. then didnt end up doing tough.. and am amazed how different standards are applied to people for being good friends to reputable wingsuit-instructors, or not. dont think its worth the trouble spilling the beans, its just a little disappointing how double-faced people actually can be. wouldnt of thought that about skydivers, but i guess they're people just like the rest. i learned a valuable lesson tough: i dont go to the dropzone to make friends, i go there to have fun and to SKYDIVE!! if i DO make friends in the process, that's great, but i wont sacrifice my own beliefs about things.“Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Quote Its always a disappointment to me when people are such good friends with someone, they would rather tell them the thing that keeps em happy, instead of telling them the thing they dont want to hear that keeps em safe.. I definately applaud you for being tempted into wingsuits at low experience, and realising you could use a bit broader background in further persuing what you want to do. Looking forward to fly with you sometime sooner or later.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

VectorBoy 0 #10 September 2, 2008 i'm talking about people sub-100 jumps. dont think its too funny then, is it!? Don't be so sensitive. I'm not picking on you. BTW the words reputable wingsuit instructor are a riot all by themselves. Anything about wingsuit instructors is always funny, regardless of jump numbers.
