Other than the Flock and dock 3 (and 3.5) are there any other wingsuit specific events being planned.

Not really referring to events taking place because of a boogie is in town but wingsuit specific events

Scott has it the 10th on the registration form which is a Thursday running through Sunday. Our website has it as the 11th which is a Friday though Monday. OOPS! I apologize. So the correct dates...

do you like creating random work for yourself? there wasn't really a reason or need to remove that.
considering that a fair amount of the people who post here have met eachother in the groups with some cross breeding (at least EU group, SA group, and US group). we should be allowed to joke as long as it doesn't throw everything off. it has proven fine for the last yr! it's still more tactful than [Tom A's] Base forum. He was probably in pissy mood the other day when he did some moderating over here to.

Due to weather I only have a handful of jumps on it, New suit murphie's law you know. But it flys soo fast the smell will never catch up with it even when I start living in it. I'm going to need a hearing aid ,thats for sure, from the noise being back up to freefly speeds but in the horizontal vector. And I'm going to need a new avitar one with the background blurred and smoke comming off the suit.

The moderators (and ex ) are in agreement here. I don't want to spoil people's fun, but I would like to see topical posts outnumber the banter in here as I think the balance is off at the moment (and you guys are demonstrating that right now in this thread).

If you could a least post something relevant then I'd probably let it slide...

I don't mean to rain on your parade but the guys on the west coast aren't coming and the guys in Florida aren't coming.
Its not they they are asses (well kinda) but why should they leave their home DZ's where they have a shit load of wingsuit flyers every weekend to come to your event.

You had better plan for tailgate airplanes, lots of free beer and food and give reach arounds if you expect to have a decent out of town turn out.

True true....but we are trying to grow the New England Flock so the more events and visibilty we have the more jumpers we can convert. The idea behind the New England event is to to get all the Northeast WS jumpers together so all the flat-fliers see the flock and say to themselves "Fuck that looks cool...I gotta try that!" I think we need all the things you said (tail gate, beer, food, etc...) just to get the New England birds together! Hopefully we can pull it together because it definitely would be fun.

If you look closely at Jason's post you will see those things aren't "all" he requested. He apparently has other special needs which must be attended to.

agreed, but we will have a casa at each dropzone for a weekend this summer. there is a lot of potential here so dont shoot us down so quickly. I will provide free beer to any birds who travel far for a new england flock.
