S1 legwing Mod?

Recommended Posts

I had a few people talk about this in another post i had here. Does anyone know of people here in the States modifying the leg wing on the skyflyer by adding cells to make the stance wider. Im curious to how difficult and expensive this would be to do. Just curious if this would be worth getting into.

I know of at least one here in the States(greybeard) that has added cells to the leg wing of the S1 to include wingtip grips. I believe he had all his mods done there in Eloy where he jumps.

He added V-1 style grippers and filled in the "triangles" at the end of his legwing to also make it look more like a V-1. Not implying his intention was to make it look like a V-1... the reason for the legwing mod, as I understand it, was to repair some tearing that was occuring from backflying flappage. There was a pic of his suit in classifieds for a while, I'm too lazy to look for it now. :P

Hey...I think he added triangles to the leg wing to make it more like the S-3s leg wing..I don't think he added anything below the wing line if you know what I am talking about ..its not in the classifieds anymore....I say S-3s because I remember reading it in the ad. But I could be mistaken.

Kris.
