BlindBrick 0 #1 April 20, 2006 I'm a big guy and once my dzo realized my belly terminal was 180 mph, he made me get a suit that would slow me down to 120. After trial and error, it was discovered that the only thing that came close to doing the trick was a freefly suit with a huge zp wing that spans from my wrist to shin level on my lower leg. until a couple of weeks ago, I just tracked like a regular skydive. But then, i decided what the hell and fully extended my arms as I hit my track. Now I understand why they call wingsuits "nylon crack". Once I get the jump numbers, I am for sure going to get a wingsuit. What I'd like to know is what skills can I be working on with the wing I have right now, so that I'll be ready once I have my 500 jumps in? -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it." LouDiamond 1 #4 April 20, 2006 Quotea freefly suit with a huge zp wing that spans from my wrist to shin level on my lower leg. Can you post a picture of that? It sounds like you're flying a rudimentary wing suit already. QuoteWhat I'd like to know is what skills can I be working on with the wing I have right now 1.Start with a good body position, fully extending your legs, pointing your toes and slightly de-arching or cupping your body. 2.It is also a good idea to become familar with the wing suit flight pattern. 3.Focus on your stability while deploying using the wing suit pull method. Speeds were verified by my Vigil and multiple recording alti's. Lou, I'll try to get a pic of the suit this weekend. -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it."
