yuri_base 1 #1 March 5, 2006 Yo Jeb Russians will fly SU-27 through Tianmen Cave on March 17-19 The cave (or rather natural bridge) is 430ft high, 200ft deep (depth/height < 0.5). At 190ft width, it can fit a wingsuit formation! With smoke, it will be beautiful. And money seems to grow on trees there... a clip of a fly-through another one upside down YuriAndroid+Wear/iOS/Windows apps: L/D Vario, Smart Altimeter, Rockdrop Pro, Wingsuit FAP iOS only: L/D Magic Windows only: WS Studio
jeb 0 #2 March 5, 2006 I think I saw that when i was there. Very cool for what they are doing but kind of a lame base jump. There are way cooler things in that area to jump from :) Jeb

I don't remember his name... do you? If someone dares to backfly through this thing with a "guide", the visuals would be just unearthly. The talus seems to be friendly, >2000ft at ~45 degrees? Google Earth seems to have old and low resolution data on this region, but if this road (see pics) is under the cave, then there's plenty of space to land.
