riggerrob 643 #1 January 24, 2006 Just ran across this on the BASE forum. Has anyone jumped it yet? Looks like Matter's answer to Phoenix's Prodigy. They even copied toe straps from Phoenix's tracking pants. Hopefully other wingsuit manufacturers will introduce similar two-piece suits to overcome newbie's anxiety/steep learning curve. http://www.matterclothing.com/...tracer_tracksuit.htm
mccordia 74 #2 January 24, 2006 I've seen the suit in Empuria. Looked really nice in terms of construction. It looks quite different from a prodigy up close. Especialy the arm 'wings'. No grippers, just inflating sleeves. I would put it somewhere 'in between' a trackingsuit and prodigy in terms of design...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? LouDiamond 1 #3 January 24, 2006 QuoteJust ran across this on the BASE forum It's been mentioned once or twice in this forum not too long ago. It is one of the additions I have already made to the second edition of Skyflying Wingsuits in Motion. I am currently waiting for Cedric to get back with me with some aerial shots of it to accompany the full description in the book. Unlike the Prodigy, the arm wings actually inflate when in flight much like a regular wingsuit."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

stratman05 0 #6 January 24, 2006 So what are the takes on this suit? Worth purchasing before I have the jumps in for a wingsuit? I've been jumping smoke pants and having a blast with those, but am looking for something better.
KrisFlyZ 0 #7 January 24, 2006 Unless you have money buring a hole in your pocket, wait till you can jump a wingsuit and get a real one. As the Matter website says, it is really for technical BASE jumps where you don't want the hassle of a wingsuit. Kris.

mccordia 74 #9 January 24, 2006 Think it would be a nice beginner suit for that one-handed guy who posted a while back as well. No grippers to hold, and no zippers to undo..?JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
riggerrob 643 #10 January 25, 2006 That black suit looks more like a "Pressurised" tracking suit.
