r2hubert 0 #1 October 25, 2005 I was wondering how I could demo a V1? Are there demo suits available? I'm 5'9 - 160.... Thanks -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open."

Thanks I don't think there are any V-1 demo suits as such.....your best bet is to find an owner that is willing to let you try his/her suit. Voodew1 was offering to let people try his suit at some boogie if he is sure that the person can stand up every landing. I think his suit will fit you. Kris. voodew1 0 #4 October 25, 2005 If you ever make to Texas let me know -- you can jump mine, it should fit perfect Sorry I won't ship it to you as I use it every weekend, but your welcome to come to me and jump it if you can't find one closer. Home DZ is Skydive San Marcos -- grand caravan and a twin otter --- I have lots of other suits you could try too!! r2hubert 0 #8 November 9, 2005 Oh My God! Just my impression on that suit after 2 flight last weekend. I'm sure there is nothing I'm going to say that wasn't said before but here is my review: First off the suit was fitting me perfectly thanks to my body double DingoDave! The suit was really easy to fly right at the door and I really like the wings greappers. Overall the first impression is OMG I'm moving forward like crazy. I've never covered that much distance in a wingsuit even with an S3. I was curious if it was because I was flying downwind so I turn around and OMG I'm still cruising like nuts. The funny thing is that because of that massive forward speed the jump was pretty loud. Any way the part that I was the most scared off was pull time. That was my first time using the base pouch and I was a little nervous about it. After a lot's of practice pull on the ground I was comfortable. The pull went great and felt really natural, I add a nice on heading opening and got my arms free by the time the slider went down. On my second jump I focused more on getting an efficient flight and end up covering even more ground and an average of 44mph. After that second flight I felt my arms were really tired. I've never experienced that feeling in any other suit. But this is so worth it. Conclusion I really like this suit easy to fly, lot's of speed! The only downside is the price but that's true for all high performance suit. Thanks again DingoDave!!! -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open."
