Yeh I know, but I'm a bitch for details. :)

I.e. temperatures (warm or HOT), humidity, and chances of jumping every day (rain/wind/clouds).

I'm ASSuming since they are holding a boogie (the biggest one ever apparently!) then that it's probably a good time for it. But I still figured it couldn't hurt to ask since I know nothing about the area. :)

Sydney is beautiful this time of year, last we jumper everyday over the xmas boogie. Its hot, 28 to 35Celcius. Its a lil humid but not uncomfortable.

On the Friday night is Comedy night with 3 comedians giving us their full performance after their first jumps that day.

We'd all like to invite as many Northern hemisphere birdies as can make it. Jumping in Aus is fantastic, great people and especially the parties! It really is a great time of year and if you can make it you can spend as little or as much time going up the coast and seeing why this country is so much fun...

And ultimately theres mores competitions, skill jumps and records all going up for grabs, thats y its the biggest!

I'm going for 7 weeks, leaving UK end of November and back just in time for the AGM. Flight was £700 but it goes up if you travel in December. This boogie is just one week of the trip. Mike now lives in Adelaide so he's coming too. Haven't sorted any accommodation yet.

Just tried to call you on the military line (RAPA and NI) but no answer, how were the night jumps? I'm guessing you didn't get to do a night flight cos otherwise I'd have read about it on here?!

Liz,

Well let's motivate you to make it to OZ by November 26. Take a look at the Byron Bay boogie forum-subject post (Wingsuit Boogie Australia end November 2005) for 26 to 30 November. It'll be another great Ozzie wingsuit event. So shall we see you at both events?

Doh! Why couldn't you have mentioned this sooner! It sounds great but I've already booked holidays elsewhere! I will however be at Sydney Skydivers for the boogie, as Liz says.

Did my first two night wingsuit jumps last week. A good laugh although it was on a borrowed rig 'cos I managed to have my first mal earlier that day! Yes, lots of beer flowed that night! Thanks to Liz I'm still here! :)
I'm looking forward to trying out some different suits as I'm looking for a replacement for my GTi.

Mike.

As Mike says, d'oh! Not leaving the UK until Tuesday 29th Nov, then stopping in Kuala Lumpur so don't even get to Oz till the Saturday, 3rd Dec. Damn!

Mike, I tried backflying the Vampire again yesterday, very stable and better than last time (last time I was being deafened by the flapping of the leg wing, then sent very steep by the arm wings when I tried to fix that by tensioning everything). The leg wing still flaps a lot but I guess that's just cos it's so big and it can't inflate. I felt much flatter this time too, not binning altitude like last time. Pro Track had my first half average in the mid 60s, and I spent most of that time on my back. Chat tomorrow :)

Liz,

Where's the problem?

1. Leave earlier.
2. Do KL on the way back.
3. Make the summerfest boogie.
4. Wingsuit yourself into oblivion over the beautiful coastline of Byron Bay
5. Recover cpl weeks with beach and booze/.
6. Repeat at the Xmas boogie at Picton
7. Go home happy and broke.B|

Blue Skies,
