LouDiamond 1 #1 July 6, 2005 Doesn't always stay there. The film festival in Gap had a showing of Soul Flyers 2 with absolutely insanely low wingsuit openings and is said to be far better than the first movie. Release is said to be around the end of August."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
leroydb 0 #2 July 6, 2005 Nice. I cant wait to add it to the video library. Low openings from terminal are fun to watch, but eh not so much...Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio...
Jasmin 0 #3 July 6, 2005 I've seen someone other than Luic, have to fly around trees, as they were still in freefall at the time. It makes great footage, but I no longer consider that to be insanely low (for them). I'm guessing Luic has been up to his usual awesome antics, so I'd like to know what you classify as 'insanely low'?xj "I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with the earth...but then I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with a car either, and that's having tried both." You know, it is quotes like this that make me have to relaize what someone else said once as true. There are just some people in this world with cajones 3-4 times the size of my head. I'm ok with that though, cause it makes for some sick assed video. Stay safe everyone, but keep the edge moving forward.

LouDiamond 1 #7 July 6, 2005 Quoteso I'd like to know what you classify as 'insanely low'? Now if I told you and everyone else what it was, the surprise would be ruined before you even see it. Let's just say it's so low it's just short of landing with the suit"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
TomAiello 26 #8 July 6, 2005 I think the lowest pull I've seen in a wingsuit is Yuri off the tower in Moscow. Pretty much line stretch into water, even with the "forward reduces required altitude" effect of the wingsuit. Lowest I've seen over dry land has got to be one of the "not enough time to cut away wings or get toggles" jumps. I've seen a couple of those from various people--Jimmy F., Dwain W., Robert P. I'm having trouble imagining that you could pull much lower than that and avoid hospital time. I know that you're not going to beat Denis L.'s pull without actually landing the suit.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm hoping we’ll see Robi and Jimmy give Luic a good run for his money down that slope.... Let's just say it's so low it's just short of landing with the suit I agree with Tom, good luck beating Denis' record without actually landing it or dying trying…which incidentally, Dwain would have said doesn't count!xj "I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with the earth...but then I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with a car either, and that's having tried both." LouDiamond 1 #10 July 7, 2005 QuoteI agree with Tom, good luck beating Denis' record without actually landing it or dying trying Dying or impacting and living doesn't count in my book. Being able to get back up on your own and go on living without a trip to the hospital does Mark my words, when people see this, it will generate a lot of talk, just like the mountain slope flight did a while back."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
