voodew1 0 #2 April 15, 2005 The classic 1 suit should not run more than $450US which I would say is high - I have bought a few for $300ish. The classic 1 is made from a thicker type of material and only has 1 zipper which makes it harder to get in and out of. hope this helps -- if the suit is perfect They are a good first suit but once you've used the 2 zipper stuff you will hate the single zipper - they are also harder to sell in the future because of this. SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 April 15, 2005 I have bought and sold two original Classics for $300 apiece. I don't think I would pay more than that for a used one no matter how good of shape it is in.

Some people have told me they liked the thicker amatex material, and the single zipper suit can easily be modified to a double zipper by any rigger with a sewing machine. Offer $300 Be safe. Tonto 1 #5 April 16, 2005 I had the double zipper conversion done to my Classic, and had an 'Ëxpantion Panel" put in behind the origional zip. That suit now fits just about everyone! I paid about $320 for it. tIt's the year of the Pig.

But the wings are made out of parachute ZP. A bad landing or time spent sliding arround on seats does put holes in the tail wing.

Helmut 0 #10 April 19, 2005 If you looking for an entry level suit or going the classic route why dont you contemplate a new Prodigy. Contact unclecharlie he would be able to tell you how the two compare. I have some jumps on the Prodigy and have been really happy with it. Average about 90 seconds of freefall opening at 6000. Just throwing that out there to make your decision more difficult. Good luck
