PhreeZone 20 #1 March 6, 2005 Alright lets see if we can keep this thread from falling into a "My suit is better then your suit" thread shall we? What is everyone having success with in getting both Wingsuit video and stills? I've seen lots of people flying the normal side mount camera platform and others with the top mount. I've also seen some one offs like LouDiamond's mounting of his camera at a side angle. Norman Kent was jumping his digital still camera as a hand held style last WFFC and was getting great shots. What are posters on here having luck with and what are you being disapointed with?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
leroydb 0 #2 March 6, 2005 I have used a bellymount and turned it at diff angles. Yes on my WS, I do need (MUST HAVE) help with sewing the wings. Pain in the but. I think there is a guy named neil that has also done the same thing.Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... dragon2 2 #3 March 6, 2005 I can't jump both my TRV-25 and my D70 at the same time doing BirdMan: way too heavy . I got a custom fullface helmet with everything topmounted, but if I have to move my head around too much my neck hurts. I can do FS etc but not BM. Maybe I'm just a wuss, and maybe I'll get the hang of it later, but for now I let Henny jump my D70! No comment on the flying please, we were all way uncurrent and the base guy has like 10 wingsuits jump total. Was still great fun though, and great flying above the unseasonal snow! When we could SEE it that was, which explains why we all landed out, except for our base guy (you did that on purpose right Hans? ) Unfortunately this was our only jump together today, for some reason we couldn't jump from 12k anymore (I wonder why? LOL) and I didn't feel like doing a hopnpop in my wingsuit ciel bleu, Saskia
